Microplastic-derived dissolved organic matter (MP-DOM) forms from the aging of microplastics (MPs), but the co-transport behavior of MP-DOM and aged MPs (AMPs) remains poorly understood. This study investigates the co-transport of AMPs and MP-DOM generated from original MPs (OMPs) over a wide range of environmentally relevant conditions. Urban Water Ecological Carrying Capacity (UWECC) is an important dimension for measuring the health of urban water ecosystems and is crucial for promoting the coordination between economic and social development and ecological protection. This study introduces a novel UWECC assessment method by coupling criterion layers with driving indicators and is the first to examine the impact of COVID-19 on UWECC. Methods: We reviewed the clinical data, diagnosis and treatment of hypercalcemic crisis in a patient with mixed glandular neuroendocrine carcinoma of the endometrium.

Results: The patient had gastrointestinal symptoms and acute renal impairment as the main manifestations, and the blood biochemical indexes suggested a hypercalcemic crisis with elevated parathyroid hormone (PTH).

The successful progression of meiosis prophase I requires integrating information from the structural and molecular levels. In this study, we show that ZFP541 and KCTD19 work in the same genetic pathway to regulate the progression of male meiosis and thus fertility. The Zfp541 and/or Kctd19 knockout male mice show various structural and recombination defects including detached chromosome ends, aberrant localization of chromosome axis components and recombination proteins, and globally altered histone modifications.
