Objective: In observational studies, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has been associated with an increased risk of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDPs); however, the causality between these conditions remains to be determined. This study aimed to investigate the causal relationship between PCOS and HDPs.
Methods: This genome-wide association study (GWAS), conducted from November to December 2023, aimed to investigate the causal relationships between PCOS and HDPs, gestational hypertension and preeclampsia/eclampsia via two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most abundant modification controlling RNA metabolism and cellular functions, but its roles in placental development are still poorly understood. Here, we characterized the synchronization of m6A modifications and placental functions by mapping the m6A methylome in human placentas (n = 3, each trimester), revealing that the dynamic patterns of m6A were associated with gene expression homeostasis and different biological pathways in placental development. A prototype of the SFMG-SHRS is built using multi-gratings with four sub-gratings having groove densities of 320, 298, 276, and 254 gr/mm and separate filters with filter bands corresponding to the sub-gratings. We use the SFMG-SHRS to measure the Raman spectra of inorganic and organic compounds with various integration times, laser power, and transparent containers, compare measurements of microplastics with and without the separate filters, and measure mixtures of inorganic powders and organic solutions.
