We examined the effects of thinning and reshaping on the canopy micro-domain environment, leaves micro-structure, physiological characteristics and photosynthetic capacity of 16 year-old Fuji apple dense orchards by measuring canopy relative light intensity, temperature, relative humidity, leaf chlorophyll content, micro-structure, and photosynthetic fluorescence. After thinning and reshaping, relative light intensity and temperature of tree canopy were significantly improved, and the distribution was balanced. Effective light intensity (>30%) was 57% higher than that of control (thinning and reshaping, CK), and temperature increased by 1.

Exploring the molecular basis and revealing key candidate genes for different densities management of orchard has great significance for production capacity improvement. In this study, transcriptome sequencing of apple trees was carried out at three different sampling heights to determine gene expression patterns under high density(HD) and low density(LD) and the physiological indices were measured to determine the effect of density change on plants.

We performed a meta-analysis of cohort studies to evaluate whether improvement of hyponatremia is associated with improved survival in patients with ADHF and hyponatremia. Relevant studies were identified through systematic search of PubMed and Embase.

However, the antitumor effects of resveratrol on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and its potential underlying mechanisms have not yet been elucidated. The present study demonstrated that resveratrol inhibited viability, proliferation, invasion and migration of HCC cells significantly in a time‑ and dose‑dependent manner, indicating that resveratrol exerted antitumor effects in HCC.

Aiming at the seasonal drought in the dry land orchards of Longdong, Gansu Province, a sand-covering experiment was conducted with 15-year-old Nagafu No. 2 apple trees, with the soil water content, temperature, stem sap flow velocity, leaf stomatal conductance, and fruit quality measured. In the orchard covered with 5-cm-thick riversand, the increment of soil temperature in February-April was lower than 1 degrees C, while in June-July, it was 2.
