Methods: A total of 271 pediatric cancer survivors and their parents were conveniently selected as participants for this cross-sectional survey conducted from June to November 2023. Using questionnaires to collect sociodemographic and physical activity data of pediatric cancer survivors and their parents, dimensions of the Theory of Planned Behavior among pediatric cancer survivors.
Purpose: Perineural invasion (PNI) is an independent risk factor for poor prognosis in gastric cancer (GC) patients. This study aimed to develop and validate predictive models based on CT imaging and clinical features to predict PNI status in GC patients.
Methods: This retrospective study included 291 GC patients (229 in the training cohort and 62 in the validation cohort) who underwent gastrectomy between January 2020 and August 2022.
Background: To determine the optimal fluid resuscitation volume in septic patients with acutely decompensated heart failure (ADHF).
Methods: Septic patients with ADHF were identified from a tertiary urban medical center. The generalized additive models were used to explore the association between fluid resuscitation volume and endpoints, and the initial 3 h fluid resuscitation volume was divided into four groups according to this model: < 10 mL/kg group, ≥ 10 to ≤ 15 mL/kg group, > 15 to ≤ 20 mL/kg group, and > 20 mL/kg group.

Purpose: This work aims to develop and validate a noninvasive workflow based on contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) images to evaluate the CD8+ T-cell infiltration profiles of GC.
Rationale And Objectives: We aimed at developing and validating a nomogram and machine learning (ML) models based on radiomics score (Radscore), morphology, and PHASES to predict intracranial aneurysm (IA) rupture.
Materials And Methods: We collected 440 patients with IAs in our hospital from 2015 to 2023, totaling 475 IAs (214 ruptured and 261 unruptured). A 7:3 random split was utilized to allocate participants into training and testing sets.
Purpose: To investigate the association between the oxidative balance score (OBS) and endometriosis.
Methods: This cross-sectional study used four cycles of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) (1999-2000, 2001-2002, 2003-2004, and 2005-2006). OBS involved 16 dietary nutrients and 4 lifestyle factors, including 5 pro-oxidants and 15 anti-oxidants.
Vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) belongs to the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), and mediates cytoplasmic monoamine packaging into presynaptic vesicles. Here, we present two cryo-EM structures of VMAT2, with a frog VMAT2 adopting a canonical MFS fold and an engineered sheep VMAT2 adopting a non-canonical fold. This study presents a highly effective approach for synthesizing derivatives of 3,4-disubstituted maleimides through the direct isomerization of α-succinimide-substituted allenoates, followed by a cascade γ'-addition and aryl imines using PR as a catalyst. The resulting series of 3,4-disubstituted maleimides exhibited excellent stereoselectivities, achieving yields of up to 86%.
