Most acute coronary syndromes are due to a sudden luminal embolism caused by the rupturing or erosion of atherosclerotic plaques. Prevention and treatment of plaque development have become an effective strategy to reduce mortality and morbidity from coronary heart disease. It is now generally accepted that plaques with thin-cap fibroatheroma (TCFA) are precursors to rupturing and that larger plaques and high-risk plaque features (including low-attenuation plaque, positive remodeling, napkin-ring sign, and spotty calcification) constitute unstable plaque morphologies.

However, with the development of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and genetic technology in recent years, the number of reports has increased.
Case Summary: We report a case of DD in an adolescent male patient, confirmed by genetic testing.
Objective: The aim of this study was to observe the spatial distribution and dynamic changes of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2, MMP-9, and collagen in in stent restenosis (ISR) and to explore their influence on ISR.
Methods: Sixty Z type stents were implanted into the common iliac arteries of minipigs, which were divided into 10 groups (six in each group) according to euthanasia time (6 hours, and 1, 3, 7, 14, 28, 56, 84, 168, and 336 days). After the samples were harvested, haematoxylin and eosin staining, immunohistochemical staining, Western blotting, and Picrosirius red staining were performed for all groups.
BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to compare changes in the extracellular matrix after implantation of a stent that elutes a matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) inhibitor (GM6001); and to determine the effects of the GM6001-eluting stent upon prevention of in-stent restenosis (ISR). MATERIAL AND METHODS We included 48 Guangxi Bama mini-pigs in this study. A GM6001-eluting stent was placed in one iliac artery and a stent that did not elute GM6001 was placed in the contralateral iliac artery.

Therefore, researches on high sensitivity, high selectivity, and high stability have become hot issues. Since the discovery of the nanomaterial, it has been increasingly applied to the gas sensor for its distinguishing surface performances.

The clinical experiences and outcomes of transcatheter thrombolytic therapy for symptomatic IVC thrombosis following filter implantation have not been widely reported. The aim of the current study was to evaluate the efficiency and safety of trans-catheter thrombolysis for the treatment of symptomatic IVC thrombosis in patients with implanted IVC filters.
