Methods: PCOS and atherosclerosis data sets were downloaded from the GEO database, and their differentially expressed genes were identified. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis was used to obtain intersection genes, and then protein-protein interaction and functional enrichment analysis were performed.

In this study, clinical data revealed that women with PD exhibited reduced serum testosterone levels, which were inversely correlated with the severity of dysmenorrhea compared to healthy controls. Objective: This study aimed to explore the role of the waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) in assessing insulin resistance (IR) in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Materials And Methods: We enrolled 882 PCOS-afflicted women in a cross-sectional analysis to evaluate the association of the WHtR with IR. Their demographic characteristics, anthropometric parameters, and fasting blood samples were collected and measured.

Method: In this study, we investigated the effects of acupuncture (458 patients) and sham acupuncture (468 patients) on metabolic parameters, serum ions, and all quality-of-life scale scores related to PCOS. The quality of life of patients was evaluated using five relevant scales, operated by the research assistant, namely, PCOSQ, SF-36, and ChiQOL, as well as Zung-SAS and Zung-SDS.
