Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a chronic liver disease associated with metabolic dysfunction, ranging from hepatic steatosis with or without mild inflammation to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, which can rapidly progress to liver fibrosis and even liver cancer. In 2023, after several rounds of Delphi surveys, a new consensus recommended renaming NAFLD as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Ninety-nine percent of NAFLD patients meet the new MASLD criteria related to metabolic cardiovascular risk factors under the "multiple parallel hits" of lipotoxicity, insulin resistance (IR), a proinflammatory diet, and an intestinal microbiota disorder, and previous research on NAFLD remains valid.

Obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) is a subtype of HCM characterized by left ventricular outflow tract obstruction resulting from cardiac muscle hypertrophy and anatomic alterations in the mitral valve and apparatus. Mavacamten, a cardiac myosin inhibitor metabolized primarily by CYP2C19 in the liver, is the first and only targeted medication approved for the treatment of symptomatic New York Heart Association (NYHA) class II-III oHCM. Previous pharmacokinetic (PK) results of mavacamten in healthy Caucasian, Japanese, and Asian participants demonstrated that mavacamten exposure was affected by CYP2C19 metabolism status.

Altitude is an important ecological factor affecting plant physiology and ecology, material metabolism and gene expression. Tuber color changes were observed in purple and red potatoes growing at four different elevations ranging from 1,800 ± 50 to 3,300 ± 50 m in the Tiger Leaping Gorge area of Yunnan Province. The results showed that the total phenol content, total flavone content, total anthocyanin content and biological yield of anthocyanin increased with increasing altitude until 2,800 ± 50 m, and the highest anthocyanin content were detected in the purple potato Huaxinyangyu and the red potato Jianchuanhong at the flowering stage and budding stage, respectively.

However, the predominant bottom-up strategy for DACs synthesis has critically constrained the development of highly ordered DACs due to the random distribution of heteronuclear atoms, which hinders the optimization of catalytic performance and the exploration of actual reaction mechanism. To address the technical limitations of automatic coal and gangue detection technology in fully mechanized top coal caving mining operations, the low radiation level radioactivity measurement method is utilized to assess the degree of coal-gangue mixture in top coal caving process. This approach is based on the distinguishing radiation characteristics of natural γ-rays between coal and gangue. This study analyzed the distribution characteristics of natural γ-rays in coal and rock layers of thick coal seams and the applicability of this method, introduced the basic principle of coal-gangue detection technology based on natural γ-ray, developed the test system about automatic coal-gangue detection, studied the radiation characteristics of coal and gangue, proposed determination model of the coal-gangue mixed degree, combined with the time sequence characteristics of the top coal's releasing flow and the energy spectrum characteristics of different layers of rock, realized the precise coal-gangue detection technology in complex structure thick coal seam with multiple gangue.
