Background: Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is one of the most common malignant tumors with high mortality. Anoikis resistance is an important mechanism of tumor cell proliferation and migration. Our research is devoted to exploring the role of anoikis in the diagnosis, classification, and prognosis of LUAD.

Background: Previous research has shown the heterogeneity of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) accounts for the different effects and prognoses of the same treatment. Increased expression of stanniocalcin 2 is associated with tumor progression after radiotherapy in patients with cervical carcinoma.

Aim: This study aimed to analyze the expression, clinical significance of stanniocalcin 2 in cervical carcinoma patients who were treated with radiotherapy.

Preclinical studies have suggested an anti-colorectal cancer effect of n-3 fatty acids, yet epidemiological studies have reported mixed results. The goal of the present meta-analysis was to examine the association between the dietary intake of n-3 fatty acids and colorectal cancer risk by conducting a meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies. We searched the PubMed database up to February 2012 to identify eligible studies.

[Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the prostate: a report of 2 cases and review of the literature].

Objective: To study the clinicopathological characteristics of primary Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) of the prostate.

Methods: Two cases of primary NHL of the prostate were studied by analyzing the clinical data, pathological features, prognosis and review of the literature.

Results: HE showed that the normal prostatic tissues were replaced by diffuse-type cancer tissues composed of oval or round medium- to large- size lymphoid cells, with vesicular nuclei, fine chromatin, 2-4 membrane-bound nucleoli and scanty cytoplasm, with either amphophilic or basophilic.
