Bleeding patients exhibit different fibrinolytic phenotypes after injury, and the universal use of tranexamic acid (TXA) is doubted. We aimed to evaluate the efficacy of postoperative antifibrinolytic treatment in total hip arthroplasty (THA) patients with different fibrinolytic phenotypes. A retrospective analysis was conducted in 238 patients who underwent THA.

Enhanced Recovery after Surgery Protocol Accelerates Recovery of Lumbar Disc Herniation among Elderly Patients Undergoing Discectomy via Promoting Gastrointestinal Function.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocol on the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with lumbar disc herniation after discectomy. A total of 179 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into the ERAS and non-ERAS groups. The non-ERAS group received routine nursing, and the ERAS group received ERAS strategy.
