The study of the competitive and selective immobilization properties and mechanisms of pollutants immobilized by metastable biogenic monohydrocalcite is of great importance for the assessment of the eco-environmental effects and applications of hydrated calcite at the Earth's poles. Microbial culture technology was used to induce the synthesis of biogenic monohydrocalcite (BMHC), and mineral characterization, batch adsorption experiments and chemical analyses were further used to investigate the sequestration characteristics, action mechanism, and environmental effects of BMHC on Pb(II)-Ni(II)-Zn(II)-methylene blue (MB) compound pollution. The results show that BMHC is an organic-inorganic mineral composite (about 3.

The development of bio-adsorbents with highly selective immobilization properties for specific heavy metals is a great challenge, but has important application value. Biogenic whewellite (BW) with high selectivity for Pb(II) was synthesized by mineral microbial transformation. The selective immobilization properties and mechanism of BW for Pb(II) were analyzed by combining mineral characterization technology and batch adsorption research methods.

In this study, river-sand, serpentine, and organic fertilizer were used as additives in CSS, and , a salt-tolerant cash crop, was planted in these differently treated soils. Through high-throughput sequencing, analysis of soil physico-chemical properties, and detection of plant growth status, the rhizosphere bacterial diversity of growing in CSS under different treatments and their environmental impact factors were studied, while exploring the effect and mechanism of organic fertilizer combined with gravel as a CSS modifier.

However, the influence of OMF on the structure and function of soil microbial diversity and their relationship with crop yield and quality are still unclear.
Methods: Based on soil science, crop science, and high-throughput sequencing methods, we investigated the changes of rhizosphere soil microbial communities of under different fertilization measures.
The use of serpentine biological weathering to capture atmospheric CO has attracted much attention. In the long-term mining activities in a serpentine mining area, a large amount of serpentine powder diffused into the surrounding forest and farmland soil. The study of the serpentine weathering in soils of different vegetative covers and the composition characteristics of soil carbonate has important implications for understanding the serpentine weathering and carbon sequestration under natural conditions.
