MYC is one of the most extensively studied oncogenic proteins and is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of many tumors. Previous studies have shown that MYC regulates cell fate through its liquid-liquid phase separation mechanism, which is dependent on two disordered domains within its N-terminal transcriptional activation regions. In this study, we revealed that the negatively charged conserved region (E242-E261) of the MYC protein controls its condensation formation and irreversible aggregation through multivalent electrostatic interactions.

Herein, we designed and explored a sandwich-type electrochemical sensor for highly sensitive detection of AFP based on aptamer (Apt)-AFP-Ab interaction mode with silver@gold (Ag@Au) core-shell nanoparticles (NPs) as a signal amplifier. AuNPs were electrodeposited onto MXene (TiCT)-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to get AuNPs/MXene/GCE and further used as the signal amplification substrate.

Zinc is an important trace element in the human body, and its homeostasis is closely related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Cytoplasmic FUS proteins from patients with ALS aggregate their important pathologic markers. Liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) of FUS can lead to its aggregation.

In this aptasensor, the 15-mer TB-binding aptamer (TBA-1) modified with thiol group was immobilized on the surface of AuNPs modified glassy carbon electrode (AuNPs/GCE) as capturing elements. Another thiol-modified 29-mer TB-binding aptamer (TBA-2) sequence containing G-quadruplex structure for hemin immobilization was designed.

Tripartite motif (TRIM) family proteins as E3-ligases participate in various biological processes. TRIM21, as the first autoantibody protein, has been found to be associated with autophagy. However, the role of TRIM21 engaging in autophagy is still unclear.

Hence, inhibition of protective autophagy in tumors can improve the antitumor effect of PDT. Herein, an innovative nanotraditional Chinese medicine system ((TP+A)@TkPEG NPs), which remodeled autophagy homeostasis, was fabricated.

Here, we identified three MHC-II inducers, including pristane and its two superior derivatives, that potently induce MHC-II expression in breast cancer cells and effectively inhibit the development of breast cancer. Our data suggest that MHC-II is central in promoting the immune detection of cancer to increase the tumor infiltration of T cells and enhance anti-cancer immunity.

However, less information is available about the molecular mechanisms of PAH. We evaluated the mediation of calcium-sensing receptor by inducing hypoxia for the possible proliferation of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells via the G protein pathway.

Nitric oxide (NO) is an inflammatory mediator that among other effects causes smooth muscle relaxation and mediated cytoimmunity and inflammation toxicity. To see if the nitric oxide concentration in plasma and uterine secrets is related with postpartum endometritis, NO concentrations in plasma and uterine secrets were measured in dairy cows with puerperal endometritis (clinical endometritis (n = 60) and subclinical endometritis (n = 58)).

There are lot of orthodox drugs in Chinese traditional medicine, with good reputation, quality and characteristics, are well known for their place of origin. Appellation of origin and geographic indication (GI) should be protected. Implementing system of the protection of GI in Chinese traditional medicine field is very important to extend national elaborate orthodox drugs and raise competitiveness of the goods in international trade.
