Chemical kinetics for second oxygen addition reactions (·QOOH + O) of long-chain alkanes are of great importance in low-temperature combustion technologies. However, kinetic data for key reactions of ·QOOH + O systems are often difficult to obtain experimentally and are primarily estimated or calculated by using theoretical methods. In this work, barrier heights (BHs), reaction energies (Δs), and relative energies (REs) of stationary points for key reactions of two representative ·QOOH + O systems in the low-temperature oxidation of -butyl as well as pressure-dependent rate constants for the involved reactions are calculated with the high-level quantum chemical method CCSD(T)-F12b/CBS.

The treatment of bone defects in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients remains a major challenge since the diabetic microenvironments significantly impede bone regeneration. Many abnormal factors including hyperglycemia, elevated oxidative stress, increased inflammation, imbalanced osteoimmune, and impaired vascular system in the diabetic microenvironment will result in a high rate of impaired, delayed, or even nonhealing events of bone tissue. Stimuli-responsive biomaterials that can respond to endogenous biochemical signals have emerged as effective therapeutic systems to treat diabetic bone defects via the combination of microenvironmental regulation and enhanced osteogenic capacity.

However, current FOGD methods only apply fractional-order differentiation to the loss function. The application of FOGD based on Autograd to hidden layers leverages the characteristics of fractional-order differentiation, significantly enhancing its flexibility.

In this work, we proposed a multi-target distance measurement method based on a dual-BCCEC system in a large FOV. To guarantee the precise measurement of the distance of multiple targets, a feature point searching and matching algorithm is developed for the dual-BCCEC system to improve the localizing efficiency of common feature points.

However, precisely how cholesterol metabolism is dysregulated is not clear. Here, we show that the palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC3 and depalmitoylase ABHD17A regulate HCC cell cholesterol biosynthesis by dynamically S-acylating SREBP cleavage-activating protein (SCAP).

Indoor fabrics, such as curtains, carpets, sofas, and clothes, strongly adsorb VOCs due to their high loading rates and large specific surface areas. The desorption of VOCs from these fabrics can act as a secondary source, worsening indoor air pollution and prolonging its effects.

The objective is to seamlessly integrate optimal microarchitecture, mechanical robustness, vascularisation, and osteoinductive biological responses to effectively address these critical load-bearing bone defects. To confront this challenge, three-dimensional (3D) printing technology was employed to prepare a polycaprolactone (PCL)-based integrated scaffold.

Froth flotation is a widespread and important method for mineral separation, significantly influencing the purity and quality of extracted minerals. Traditionally, workers need to control chemical dosages by observing the visual characteristics of flotation froth, but this requires considerable experience and operational skills. This paper designs a deep ensemble learning-based sensor for flotation froth image recognition to monitor actual flotation froth working conditions, so as to assist operators in facilitating chemical dosage adjustments and achieve the industrial goals of promoting concentrate grade and mineral recovery.

Our previous bioinformatics study revealed that significant CDC6 overexpression in gliomas was closely correlated with poor patient prognosis. Through qPCR, western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, we will further validate CDC6 expression in clinical glioma specimens, while the effects of silencing and overexpressing CDC6 in the U87 and LN229 glioma cell lines on malignancy will be assessed through MTS, EdU, transwell, and migration assays.

This study explores innovative approaches to enhancing concrete performance by integrating hydrophobic and densification technologies. It emphasizes the critical role of anti-sulfate erosion inhibitors in mitigating sulfate-induced damage, reducing water absorption, and inhibiting corrosive reactions.

Antiarrhythmic medications such as amiodarone are recommended in clinical practice for the prophylaxis and treatment of POAF. However, conventional oral administration is hindered due to delayed drug action and high risks of systemic toxicity, and emerging localized delivery strategies suffer from a limited release duration (less than 30 days).

However, the relationships between these functions remain poorly understood. Here, we report CRISPR screens in a mouse model of colo-rectal cancer (CRC) that implicates the dual specificity phosphatase 18 (DUSP18) in the establishment of tumor-directed immune evasion.

Background: Patients with cancer often suffer from various psychological problems and have a poor quality of life. Positive psychological interventions have been increasingly applied to patients with cancer, but the results of these studies have not been synthesized.
Objective: The study aimed to evaluate the psychometric properties and measurement invariance (MI) of the Chinese version of the cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire-short (CERQ-short) in cancer patients.
Methods: This cross-sectional study included 505 cancer patients from mainland China. In addition to sociodemographic and clinical characteristics, the CERQ-short and the distress thermometer were included in the study measures.
Prepacked aggregate concrete (PAC) is made by placing coarse aggregates of various sizes into a formwork and then filling the voids between coarse aggregate and grout. The mechanical performance of PAC is dominated by the compactness due to grout filling, but few study considered the pouring methods and grout performance synchronously. The coupled effect of pouring methods and grout performance on the compactness of PAC is investigated in this study.
