Background: There are many available treatment options for keloid; however, single treatments are usually less effective. Therefore, more scientifically rational and effective combined treatment methods should be sought to solve the pain associated with keloids.
Aim: To explore the efficacy and safety of surgical resection and ultra-reduced tension suture combined with superficial radiation as keloid treatment.
Background: Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a severe adverse reaction to chemotherapeutics, which seriously affects the outcome of chemotherapy and patients' quality of life. Although it is commonly seen, it lacks effective treatment. Our previous study found that ozone could alleviate neuropathic pain.

Here, we explore the role of microcirculation hypoxia induced by neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in the development of CIPN and look for potential treatment.
Methods: The expression of NETs in plasma and dorsal root ganglion (DRG) are examined by ELISA, IHC, IF and Western blotting.
Background: Recurrence of esophageal cancer (EC) after chemotherapy may mainly be explained by the existence of chemotherapy-resistant cells, and an effective drug against chemotherapy-resistant cells is highly sought. The aim of this study was to investigate the cytotoxicity of bispecific antibody solitomab combined with γ δ T cells on Eca109 cell spheres.
Methods: We cultured Eca109 cell spheres in serum-free medium, and the morphological differences between wild-type Eca109 cells and Eca109 cell spheres were compared by microscope and flow cytometry.
Background: There is a controversial relationship between the negative lymph nodes (NLNs) and survival in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). This study investigates the implications of total number of NLNs on thoracic ESCC patient prognosis.
Methods: 579 thoracic ESCC patients were categorized into four groups (0-9, 10-14, 15-19 and ≥20 NLNs).
Gastric carcinoma (GC) is a leading cause of cancer-related death in China. Dysregulation of microRNAs (miRNAs) has been shown to contribute to the development of GC, whereas the role of miR-133 in GC is unknown. Here, we analyzed the levels of miR-133 in GC tissues by reverse and quantitative transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR).

An anonymous self-reported survey was conducted to ascertain the proportion of respondents who answered negatively to questions about the value of injury prevention.

Using 16S rRNA gene clone library analysis, the microbial communities present in injected waters and produced waters from four typical water-flooded oil reservoirs with different in situ temperatures of 25 °C, 40 °C, 55 °C and 70 °C were examined. The results obtained showed that the higher the in situ temperatures of the oil reservoirs is, the less the effects of microorganisms in the injected waters on microbial community compositions in the produced waters is.

The purpose of the study is to reveal the impact of the indigenous MEOR process on microbial community structure in the oil reservoir using 16Sr DNA clone library technique. The detailed monitoring results showed significant response of microbial communities during the field trial and large discrepancies of stimulated microorganisms in the laboratory and in the natural oil reservoir.

In 2006, ALV-J strain SCAU-HN06 was isolated from commercial layer hens with spontaneous haemangiomas in China. To confirm its role in the induction of haemangioma, we constructed a full-length copy of the proviral genome from SCAU-HN06, recovered virus from DF-1 cells detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, characterized its growth property and investigated its pathogenicity.
