Choriocarcinoma is a malignant cancer that belongs to gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN). Herein, serum metabolomic analysis was performed on 29 GTN patients and 30 healthy individuals to characterize the metabolic variations during GTN progression. Ultimately 24 differential metabolites (DMs) were identified, of which, Equol was down-regulated in GTN patients, whose VIP score is the 3rd highest among the 24 DMs.

The design of efficient catalysts for photocatalytic CO conversion is of great importance for the sustainable development of society. Herein, three polyoxometalate (POM)-based crystalline materials were formulated prepared by substituting transition metals and adjusting solvent acidity with 2-(2-pyridyl) benzimidazole (pyim) as the light-trapping ligand, namely {[SiWO][Co(pyim)]}·2CHOH (SiW12Co2), {[SiWO][Ni(pyim)]}·2CHOH (SiW12Ni2), and {[SiWO][Mn(pyim)]}·2CHOH (SiW12Mn2). X-ray crystallography diffraction analysis indicates that the three complexes exhibit isostructural properties, and form a stable one-dimensional chain structure stabilized by two [M(pyim)] (M = Co, Ni, and Mn) fragments serving as dual-nodes to the adjacent SiW units.

Further evidence is needed to explore the impact of high-altitude environments on the neurologic function of neonates. Non-invasive techniques such as cerebral near-infrared spectroscopy and amplitude-integrated electroencephalography can provide data on cerebral oxygenation and brain electrical activity. This study will conduct multiple cerebral near-infrared spectroscopy and amplitude-integrated electroencephalography monitoring sessions at various time points within the first 3 days postpartum for healthy full-term neonates at different altitudes.

Designing and synthesizing lanthanide clusters have always been a research hotspot. A pure inorganic cluster, H Na Co Mo (PO ) O  ⋅ 15H O (denoted as {Co Mo }), has been successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method. Notably, the assembly of a central {Co PO } tetrahedron and four peripheral {Co[P Mo ]} fragments gives rise to a rare "quasi-Keggin" structure of {Co Mo }, in which Co linkers continue to bridge adjacent substructures, resulting in the generation of 3D framework with large cavities. Benefitting from the combination of strong reductive {P Mo } units and Co active centers, the photocatalytic system with {Co Mo } as heterogeneous catalyst exhibits excellent activity for CO conversion to CO, offering the CO formation rate of 1848.
