Polyoxometalates (POMs) are widely used in the preparation of sensors that detect the content of substances because of their excellent electron transfer capabilities. In this paper, a [(PSS/PPy)(PMo/PPy)] multilayer composite film modified electrode was prepared by the potentiostatic deposition method. The electrochemical performance of the modified electrode was studied by cyclic voltammetry under the conditions of different modified layers, different supporting electrolytes and different sweep rates.

Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the healing process of sagittal fractures in the mandibular condyle (SFMC) with rigid fixation, aiming to establish surgical treatment guidelines.* -
  • A 3D finite element model was created to analyze the stress distribution and displacement over time (0, 4, 8, and 12 weeks) following rigid fixation, revealing significant changes in stress levels.* -
  • Results indicate that while stress levels decrease over time, they remain higher than normal, suggesting that stress on the condyle and plates influences healing, with important implications for surgical approaches.*

Objective: To assess the effect of delayed opening of the infarct-related artery (IRA) by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) on the late left ventricular remodeling after acute anterior myocardial infarction (AAMI).

Methods: Sixty four patients with initial Q-wave AAMI and with the total occluded IRA conformed by angiogram at 9.1 +/- 2.
