Ganoderic acids (GAs), a class of secondary metabolites produced by the traditional medicinal mushroom Ganoderma, are a group of triterpenoids with superior biological activities. Heat stress (HS) is one of the most important environmental abiotic stresses. Understanding how organisms sense temperature and integrate this information into their metabolism is important for determining how organisms adapt to climate change and for applying this knowledge to breeding.

The alternative splicing of the pyruvate kinase M (PKM) gene regulates the expressions of PKM1/2 isoforms and the aerobic glycolysis of tumors. Polypyrimidine tract binding protein (PTBP1) is critical in this process; however, its impact and underlying mechanisms in colorectal cancer (CRC) remain unclear.

Objective: To explore the clinicopathological and morphological characteristics, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of primary signet-ring cell/histiocytoid carcinoma (SRCHC) of the axilla.
Methods: The clinical manifestations, pathomorphological characteristics, and immunohistochemical staining results of a case of primary SRCHC in the axilla were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed.
Results: The patient was a 69-year-old male.
Objective: This meta-analysis aims to compare the clinical efficacy of mesh non-fixation and fixation in laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) inguinal hernia repair, systematically evaluating the application value of the mesh non-fixation technique in clinical settings.
Methods: A computerized search of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and ClinicalTrials.gov databases was conducted to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing mesh non-fixation and fixation in TAPP inguinal hernia repair.
Panus lecomtei is a relatively unfamiliar and undeveloped mushroom. This study generated ethyl acetate extracts of P. lecomtei intracellular (I), extracellular (E) and total fermentation broth (T).

This study aims to investigate and understand the implementation of genetic testing for the personalized medication (GTPM) in children's hospitals in Mainland China.
Methods: A survey was conducted on 50 children's hospitals from 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across Mainland China, and statistical analysis and recommendations were made.
Objective: This study aims to explore ADH4 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), its prognostic impact, and its immune correlation to provide novel insights into HCC prognostication and treatment.
Methods: HCC prognostic marker genes were rigorously selected using GEO database, Lasso regression, GEPIA, Kaplan-Meier and pROC analyses. The expression of interested markers (ADH4, DNASE1L3, RDH16, LCAT, HGFAC) in HCC and adjacent tissues was assessed by Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
In this editorial we expand the discussion on the article by Zhang published in the recent issue of the . We focus on the diagnostic and therapeutic targets identified on the basis of the current understanding of the molecular mechanisms of liver disease. Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) belongs to a structurally related cytokine super family.

Methods: C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into normal, sham operation, model, and moxibustion groups, with 10 mice in each group. The PD model was established by unilateral injection of 6-hydroxydopamine (3.
Four undescribed homoisoflavanoids (1-4), one homoflavonoid (5), ten dibenzoxocin derivatives (6a-10a and 6b-10b), one dibenzoxocin-derived phenolic compound (11), one diterpenoid (13), three aliphatic dicarboxylic acid derivatives (14-16), together with the known diterpenoid 12-O-ethylneocaesalpin B (12) were obtained from the branches and leaves of Hultholia mimosoides. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic techniques. Notably, each of the dibenzoxocins 6-10 existed as a pair of interconvertible atropisomers and the conformation for these compounds was clarified by NMR and ECD analyses.

Methods: Twenty-eight first-episode MDD patients were randomly divided into 14 electro-acupuncture stimulation (EAS) groups and 14 sham-acupuncture stimulation (SAS) groups, and clinical symptoms were assessed and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scans were done in both groups. Amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (ALFF) was used to observe the changes between the pre-treatment and post-treatment in the two groups, and the altered brain areas were selected as region of interest (ROI) to observe the FC changes.
No information exists on the availability of pediatric medicines in China. This study aimed to access the availability of different types of pediatric medicine and determine their ratio in medical institution drug catalogs. Based on drug instructions, an expert meeting method was used to divide pediatric medicines into five categories: child-specific medicine (CSM), co-use medicine for adults and children (CMAC), other pediatric medicines (OCM), off-label medicine use (OMU), and non-child medicine (NM).

Therefore, this study aimed to develop a real-time deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) system to assess the Forrest classification of peptic ulcer bleeding (PUB).
Methods: A training dataset (3868 endoscopic images) and an internal validation dataset (834 images) were retrospectively collected from the 900th Hospital, Fuzhou, China.
This study aims to investigate the dual impacts of heterotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria (HAOB) strains on the regrowth of Italian ryegrass by studying cytokinin delivery from roots to leaves. The dual impacts encompass both the "soil-inside-role" and "soil-outside-role," which refer to the HAOB operating inside and outside the rhizosphere soil within the rhizosphere microenvironment. The experimental design consisted of two sets of experiments, Exp-1 and Exp-2, involving different treatments.

NO reduction is carried out only by nosZ gene encoded NO-reductase, which is highly sensitive to acidic pH and copper (Cu) contents. Therefore, a microcosm study was conducted to examine the attribution of soil pH management, Cu supply and nosZ gene abundance for NO emission mitigation.

Since the clinical presentation of metastatic cholangiocarcinoma and small intestine cancer does not differ from primary tumor, it may lead to misdiagnosis preoperatively.
Case Summary: A 66-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital for further treatment due to abdominal pain and jaundice.
