Objectives: To observe the effect of electro-scalp acupuncture (ESA) on the expression of cytochrome P450a1/b1 (CYP27a1/b1), cytochrome P45024a (CYP24a), signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT)4, STAT6, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-4 in ischemic cerebral cortex of rats with acute ischemic stroke, so as to explore its mechanism in alleviating inflammatory reaction of ischemic stroke.
Methods: Sixty SD rats were randomly divided into sham-operation, model, vitamin D and ESA groups, with 15 rats in each group. The middle cerebral artery occlusion rat model was established with thread ligation according to Zea-Longa's method.
Objectives: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) of scalp acupoint (Dingnieqian-xiexian, MS6) on expression of retinoid-related orphan receptor γT (ROR γ t), interleukin (IL)-17A, IL-10, transfor-ming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), IL-6, IL-21, and IL-17A Thelper cells(Th) 17 and forkhead transcription factor P3 (FOXP3) regulatory T cells (Treg) differentiation of ischemic cortex in ischemic stroke rats, so as to explore its molecular mechanisms underlying relief of inflammatory injury of ischemic stroke.
Methods: A total of 120 male SD rats were randomly assigned to sham operation, model, EA, inhibitor, agonist and EA+agonist groups, with 15 rats in each group. The ischemic stroke model was established by occlusion of the left middle cerebral artery according to Longa's methods.
Objectives: To investigate the effects of long-term repetitive transcranial direct current stimulation on patients with DOC in the subacute phase.
Methods: In a randomized, double-blind, controlled study, 33 patients were randomly assigned to the active or sham group, and 28 patients completed the study. Patients in the active group received anodal stimulation over the DLPFC, while patients in the sham group received placebo stimulation (20 min/day, 5 days/week, for 4 weeks).
Objective: To observe the effects of electro-scalp acupuncture (ESA) on the expression of microglial markers CD206 and CD32, as well as interleukin (IL)-6, IL-1β, and IL-10 in the ischemic cortex of rats with ischemic stroke, and to explore the mechanisms of ESA on alleviating inflammatory damage of ischemic stroke.
Methods: Sixty 7-week-old male SD rats were randomly selected, with 15 rats assigned to a sham surgery group. The remaining rats were treated with suture method to establish rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO).
Purpose: Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have shown great potential as novel biomarkers for cancer detection; however, comprehensive quantitative analysis is lacking. In this study, we performed a bibliometric analysis of non-invasive cancer diagnosis using VOCs to better characterise international trends and to predict future hotspots in this field, and then we focussed on human studies to analyse clinical characteristics for presenting the current controversies and future perspectives of further clinical work.
Methods: Publications, from 2002 to 2022, were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database.
This study aims to analyze the current status and development trend of the prevention and treatment of pulmonary nodules(PN) with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) based on knowledge map and to provide both references and suggestions for future research directions. CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and SinoMed were searched for relevant papers from the inception to December 31, 2021. Eligible articles were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Methods: A total of 96 male SD rats were randomly divided into normal, model, inhibitor and scalp acupuncture groups, with 24 rats in each group. The MCAO model was established by thread occlusion method.

Tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) have been tested in various clinical trials in cancer treatment but the patterns of specific T cell response to personalized TAA immunization remains to be fully understood. We report antigen-specific T cell responses in patients immunized with dendritic cell vaccines pulsed with personalized TAA panels. Tumor samples from patients were first analyzed to identify overexpressed TAAs.

Purpose: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a highly malignant tumor of the central nervous system. Although primary GBM patients receive extensive therapies, tumors may recur within months, and there is no objective and scientific method to predict prognosis. Adoptive immunotherapy holds great promise for GBM treatment.

Methods: The graph theory-based program Constraint Network Analysis and normal mode-based program NMsim were used to analyze the global and local flexibility indices as well as the fluctuation of individual residues in detail.
Results: The decrease in Cry1Aa network rigidity with the increase of temperature was evident.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficiency of curettage combining circumcision on giant condyloma acuminata(CA) in male external genitalia, the relationship between recurrence and curettage depth, the possibility of HPV infection in PBMC after operation.
Methods: Curettage combining circumcision was carried out on 50 cases with CA. The removed wart and wound surface tissues were examined under light microcope and for HPV-DNA detection by PCR.
