Background And Purpose: The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between functional prognosis and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) and systemic inflammatory response index (SIRI) in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) at discharge.
Methods: A total of 861 patients with AIS were enrolled between January 2019 and December 2021. Blood cell counts were collected on admission.
Background: Meningeal carcinomatosis (MC) is the most severe form of brain metastasis and causes significant morbidity and mortality. Currently, the diagnosis of MC is routinely confirmed on the basis of clinical manifestation, positive cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) cytology, and/or neuroimaging features. However, negative rate of CSF cytology and neuroimaging findings often result in a failure to diagnose MC from the patients who actually have the disease.
