The application of cold atmospheric plasma to titanium surface modification has recently become a research focus in the area of material modification. Previous studies found that cold atmospheric plasma can affect the colonization of bacteria and biological behaviors of osteoblasts by changing the surface characteristics of titanium in vitro. In vivo studies reveal that cold atmospheric plasma can promote the process of osseointegration of titanium implants.
