Background: Conventional chemotherapy (CC) administered to patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) often causes adverse effects, such as cardiopulmonary dysfunction and immune system imbalance. Patients may experience anxiety and depression during the perioperative period due to various factors, such as treatment costs and cancer recurrence risks, thereby compromising the overall quality of life. Child externalising problems, such as acting out and hostility, have been found to be significant stressors for parents, leading to increased distress levels. This cross-sectional study examined the mediating role of parents' use of mobile phones to soothe or engage children in the association between child externalising problems and distress in parents. Aerial root mucilage can enhance nitrogen fixation by providing sugar and low oxygen environment to the rhizosphere microbiome in Sierra Mixe maize. Aerial root mucilage has long been documented in sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), but little is known about the biological significance, genotypic variation, and genetic regulation of this biological process. We theoretically investigate the high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of the monolayer hexagonal boron nitride by two-color laser pulses, based on the ab initio time-dependent density-functional theory. We find that the waveform of the two-color laser field can dramatically control the harmonic spectrum. The two-color laser field can enhance the harmonic radiation more efficiently than the monochromatic pulse laser with the same incident energy.

Nanocrystalline transition metal phosphides (CoP and NiP) were successfully synthesized by a simple calcination method by using transition metal hydroxides and NaHPO as raw materials. Their catalytic activities for the hydrogen evolution from water electrolysis were evaluated with silicotungstic acid as an electron-coupled-proton buffer, whereby hydrogen and oxygen could be produced separately. It was found that the CoP sample showed higher catalytic activity (32 mmol min g) and good stability (12 h) as compared to the NiP sample, and its catalytic activity could rival that of the commercial Pt/C catalyst.
