Background: Ovarian cancer (OC) is a heterogeneous malignancy with multiple histological subtypes, showing global variability in incidence. Temporal changes in diagnostic criteria and risk factors might influence the incidence and distribution of OC and its subtypes.
Methods: This study analyzed incidence patterns (2013-2017) and trends (1988-1992 to 2013-2017) of OC and its subtypes across 65 and 40 countries, respectively.
The present study aims to summarize the current biomarker landscape in gynecological cancers (GCs) and incorporate bioinformatics analysis to highlight specific biological processes. The literature was retrieved from PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, Ovid Medline, and Cochrane Library. The final search was conducted on December 7, 2022.

In the context of the Yangtze Estuary, a crucial hub for biodiversity and economic activities in China, understanding and forecasting levels of DO is instrumental for effective environmental stewardship and management strategies. Considering this, the introduction of sophisticated machine learning algorithms into the monitoring and predictive analytics of dissolved oxygen levels represents an important stride toward leveraging the power of data-driven insights for environmental sustainability.

Therefore, we aim to first investigate the association between dietary polyphenol intake and OC survival, providing valuable insights into potential interventions.
Methods: The prospective cohort recruited 560 patients with OC to assess the associations of polyphenol intake, not only pre- and post-diagnosis but also the change from pre- to post-diagnosis with OC survival.

With the rising epidemic of obesity, metabolic syndrome, and type 2 diabetes mellitus in China, metabolic dysfunction-associated non-alcoholic fatty liver disease has become the most prevalent chronic liver disease. This condition frequently occurs in Chinese patients with alcoholic liver disease and chronic hepatitis B. To address the impending public health crisis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and its underlying metabolic issues, the Chinese Society of Hepatology and the Chinese Medical Association convened a panel of clinical experts to revise and update the "Guideline of prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (2018, China)".

This prospective cohort study first assessed the association of AMED, not only pre-diagnosis and post-diagnosis but also the change from pre-diagnosis to post-diagnosis with OC survival.
Methods: A total of 560 OC patients were included in the study, and their dietary intake was assessed using a reliable 111-item food frequency questionnaire.
Purpose: To investigate the safety and efficacy of radical radiotherapy for localized inoperable renal pelvic and ureteral carcinoma.
Methods: 23 patients who received radiotherapy were enrolled. The prescribed dose was 60 to 67.

As the largest freshwater lake in China, Poyang Lake plays a key role in supporting the balance of aquatic ecosystems, and the water quality of its inlet rivers affects the lake's water quality. Le'an River, a typical inlet river of Poyang Lake, was selected as the research object. Based on the water quality data of six monitoring points in the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the mainstream of Le'an River from 2012 to 2020, the CCME-WQI method was used to evaluate the water quality of the river after systematically analyzing the spatiotemporal variation of the concentration of pollutants in the mainstream of the river.

Methods: Data for 21 patients with advanced UTUC intolerant to chemotherapy were retrospectively collected. All patients were treated with conventionally fractionated radiotherapy (50-70 Gy/20-33 f) or partial-SABR boost to the lesions (50-60 Gy/20-25 f with tumor center boosted with 6-8 Gy/f, 3-5 f) for bulky tumors.
Background: Ambient air pollution might serve as a prognostic factor for ovarian cancer (OC) survival, yet the relationships between plant-based diet indices (PDIs) and OC survival remain unclear. We aimed to investigate the associations of comprehensive air pollution and PDIs with OC survival and explored the effects of air pollution-diet interactions.
Methods: The present study encompassed 658 patients diagnosed with OC.
Purpose: To develop and validate a nomogram based on 3D-PDU parameters and clinical characteristics to predict LNM and LVSI in early-stage cervical cancer preoperatively.
Materials And Methods: A total of first diagnosis 138 patients with cervical cancer who had undergone 3D-PDU examination before radical hysterectomy plus lymph dissection between 2014 and 2019 were enrolled for this study. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to analyze the 3D-PDU parameters and selected clinicopathologic features and develop a nomogram to predict the probability of LNM and LVSI in the early stage.
Background: Chronic heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome. The Chinese herbal compound preparation Jianpi Huatan Quyu recipe has been used to treat chronic heart failure; however, the underlying molecular mechanism is still not clear.
Aim: To identify the effective active ingredients of Jianpi Huatan Quyu recipe and explore its molecular mechanism in the treatment of chronic heart failure.
A three-component strategy was developed to enable hydrodefluoroamination of β-trifluoromethyl enones by selectively activating two C(sp)-F bonds in the trifluoromethyl group. The method involved a sequence of carbonyl reduction, hydrodefluorination, and defluoroamination under transition-metal-free conditions. Synthetically useful ()-stereospecific α-fluoroenamides were obtained in good yields with diverse functional group tolerance, which could be easily transformed into valuable organofluorides and heterocycles.

This study collected and evaluated unpleasant symptoms in PD patients and explored groups of symptoms that may affect PD patients with a view to higher symptom management.
Methods: The symptoms of PD patients were measured using the modified Dialysis Symptom Index.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a prevalent reproductive disorder in women of reproductive age, features androgen excess, ovulatory dysfunction, and polycystic ovaries. Despite its high prevalence, specific pharmacologic intervention for PCOS is challenging. In this study, we identified artemisinins as anti-PCOS agents.

Nevertheless, associations between dietary macronutrient quality and asthenozoospermia risk have not been reported to date. Thus, this study aimed to be the first to explore the associations between macronutrient quality and asthenozoospermia risk using the novel multidimensional macronutrient quality index (MQI).

Background: Although evidence on the association between per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) and human health outcomes has grown exponentially, specific health outcomes and their potential associations with PFASs have not been conclusively evaluated.
Methods: We conducted a comprehensive search through the databases of PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science from inception to February 29, 2024, to identify systematic reviews with meta-analyses of observational studies examining the associations between the PFASs and multiple health outcomes. The quality of included studies was evaluated using the A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews (AMSTAR) tool, and credibility of evidence was assessed using the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluations (GRADE) criteria.
Purpose: To retrospectively investigate the safety and efficacy of radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy for recurrent metastatic renal pelvic and ureteral carcinoma.
Methods: 109 patients were enrolled in this study, including 44 patients in the radiochemotherapy group and 65 patients in the chemotherapy group. Propensity score matching (PSM) was used to balance the baseline characteristics of the two groups by 1:1 matching.
A total of 65 phenolic acid compounds were annotated or identified by UHPLC-MS/MS method, among them, 17 -HAP (-hydroxyacetophenone) glycosides were firstly targeted profiled based on molecular networking. Their characteristic product ions of MS/MS spectra were found and examined on the guideline of targeted isolation. As a result, a new -HAP glycoside was thus obtained and determined as 2'--caffeoyl--HAP-4---D-glucopyranoside () based on 1D and 2D NMR data.
