Article Synopsis
  • Northeast China serves as a crucial ecological barrier, necessitating a thorough understanding of the distribution of ecosystem services (ESs) and their driving factors for effective management and protection.
  • The study used InVEST, RWEQ, and RUSLE models to quantitatively assess the spatial distribution of ESs and employed geodetector analysis combined with meteorological, remote sensing, and socio-economic data to identify influential factors.
  • Findings revealed notable spatial heterogeneity in ESs, with high habitat quality, carbon sequestration, and soil conservation found mainly in northern regions, while water yield and wind prevention services were concentrated in eastern areas of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Liaoning Province.

Article Synopsis
  • * The optimized 3PG model showed significantly improved accuracy in GPP estimation with an R value of 0.948 and a lower root mean square error (RMSE) compared to the original model, which had an R value of 0.854 and higher RMSE.
  • * Sensitivity analysis revealed that GPP estimation uncertainty was most influenced by temperature, followed by factors such as the enhanced vegetation index and photosynthetically active radiation, highlighting their importance in model accuracy.

A novel aluminum-containing, bimolybdenum-capped Keggin-type polyoxomolybate cluster of the {AlMo12O40(MoO2)2} anion has been synthesized and characterized. This is the first experimentally determined Keggin-type {AlMo12O40} polyoxoanion. The polyoxometalate crystal exhibits high selectivity toward the heterogeneous catalytic oxidation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone.
