TOE1, also known as hCaf1z, belongs to the DEDD superfamily of deadenylases and a newly identified isoenzyme of hCaf1 deadenylases. Previous research has demonstrated that TOE1 has deadenylase activity, which can catalyze the degradation of poly(A) substrates and interact with hCcr4d to form the unconventional human Ccr4-Caf1 deadenylase complex. Our recent research indicates that hCaf1a and hCaf1b isoenzymes, highly expressed in gastric cancer, promote gastric cancer cell proliferation and tumorigenicity via modulating cell cycle progression.

Accurate and effective monitoring of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) in soil across vast regions is crucial for environmental modeling and public health. In this study, the differences in the phosphoproteomic landscape of sporulated oocysts between virulent and avirulent strains of Toxoplasma gondii were examined using a global phosphoproteomics approach. Phosphopeptides from sporulated oocysts of the virulent PYS strain (Chinese ToxoDB#9) and the avirulent PRU strain (type II) were enriched by titanium dioxide (TiO) affinity chromatography and quantified using IBT approach. A total of 10,645 unique phosphopeptides, 8181 nonredundant phosphorylation sites and 2792 phosphoproteins were identified.
