Background: The relationship between autoimmune gastritis (AIG) and gastric polyps (GPs) is not well understood.
Aim: To explore the clinical characteristics and risk factors of AIG with GPs in patients.
Methods: This double center retrospective study included 530 patients diagnosed with AIG from July 2019 to July 2023.
Introduction: The human leukocyte antigen (HLA) evolutionary divergence (HED) reflects immunopeptidome diversity and has been shown to predict the response of tumors to immunotherapy. Its impact on allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is controversial in different studies.
Methods: In this study, we retrospectively analyzed the clinical impact of class I and II HED in 225 acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients undergoing HSCT from related haploidentical donors.

Background: It is currently uncertain whether the combination of a proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) inhibitor and high-intensity statin treatment can effectively reduce cardiovascular events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) who have undergone percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for culprit lesions.
Methods: This study protocol describes a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multicenter study aiming to investigate the efficacy and safety of combining a PCSK9 inhibitor with high-intensity statin therapy in patients with ACS following PCI. A total of 1,212 patients with ACS and multiple lesions will be enrolled and randomly assigned to receive either PCSK9 inhibitor plus high-intensity statin therapy or high-intensity statin monotherapy.
Air pollution can cause disease and has become a major global environmental problem. It is currently believed that air pollution may be related to the progression of SSNHL. As a rapidly developing city in recent years, Hefei has serious air pollution.

This study assessed global, regional, and national trends in metabolic disorders and associated mortality over three decades in WAP.
Methods: Data from the Global Burden of Disease 2019 study were leveraged to assess global metabolism-associated mortality and six key metabolic risk factors in WAP from 1990-2019.
Background: Inflammation-induced apoptosis of alveolar type II epithelial cells is a primary contributor to sepsis-induced acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Klotho is a single-pass transmembrane protein with anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic effects. However, the role and mechanism of Klotho in the development of ARDS remains unknown.

This study aims to decipher the mechanism of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction(BZYQD) in the treatment of spleen deficiency syndrome via gut microbiota. The mouse models of spleen deficiency syndrome were established by fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT, from patients with spleen deficiency syndrome) and administration of Sennae Folium(SF, 10 g·kg~(-1)), respectively, and treated with BZYQD for 5 d. The pseudosterile mice(administrated with large doses of antibiotics) and the mice transplanted with fecal bacteria from healthy human were taken as the controls.

We investigated whether AI can improve the accuracy of endoscopists' optical diagnosis of polyps with advanced features. We introduced our AI system distinguishing polyps with advanced features with more than 0.

Herein, we aimed to determine whether computed tomography (CT) radiomics can accurately stratify KIT-11 mutation genotypes to benefit Imatinib therapy and GISTs monitoring.
Methods: Overall, 1143 GISTs from 3 independent centers were separated into a training cohort (TC) or validation cohort (VC).
Introduction: There is limited evidence regarding particulate matter (PM)'s short-term effects on pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) hospital admission. Our study aimed to determine the short-term associations of the exposure to ambient PM with aerodynamic diameters <2.5 μm (PM) and < 10 μm (PM) with hospital admission for PTB in Hainan, a tropical province in China.

In this work, we propose a thermally induced strategy to precisely modulate the fast electron transport pathway formed between the photoactive motifs of a porphyrin metal-organic framework using thorium ion with large ionic radius and high coordination number as the coordination-labile metal node. As a result, the stacking pattern of porphyrin molecules in the framework before and after the crystal transformations has changed dramatically, which leads to significant differences in the separation efficiency of photogenerated carriers in MOFs.

However, their specific role in sessile serrated lesions (SSLs), a precancerous lesion often observed in the colon, has not yet been elucidated.

Recently, carbohydrazide (CO(NH)), a derivative of hydrazine and urea, has received much attention, which can reduce Np(VI) to Np(V) in the extraction reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel. Herein, according to the experimental observations, we examine the reduction mechanism of four Np(VI) by one carbohydrazide molecule using multiple theoretical calculations.

Methods: Patients with early gastric cancer who underwent endoscopic submucosal dissection from July 2012 to September 2021 were retrospectively reviewed. MGC was defined as gastric cancer of 5 mm or less in size.
Background & Aims: Approximately one-third of colorectal cancers develop from serrated lesions (SLs), including hyperplastic polyp (HP), sessile serrated lesion (SSL), traditional serrated adenoma (TSA), and SSL with dysplasia (SSLD) through the serrated neoplasia pathway, which progresses faster than the conventional adenoma-carcinoma pathway. We sought to depict the currently unclarified molecular and immune alterations by the single-cell landscape in SLs.
Methods: We performed single-cell RNA sequencing of 16 SLs (including 4 proximal HPs, 5 SSLs, 2 SSLDs, and 5 TSAs) vs 3 normal colonic tissues.

Effectively adjusting and controlling the valence state of neptunium (Np) is essential in its separation during spent fuel reprocessing. Hydrazine and its derivatives as free-salts can selectively reduce Np(VI) to Np(V). Reduction mechanisms of Np(VI) with hydrazine and four derivatives have been explored using multiple theoretical methods in our previous works.

With naringin as the internal reference substance, the relative correction factors and chromatographic peak localization methods of other seven components were respectively established at 210, 254, 280, and 320 nm. The method reproducibility was validated, and the result of QAMS were compared with those obtained by the external standard method(ESM) to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the method.

Materials And Methods: This research premise enrolled 399 patients who had primary low rectal cancer detected below the peritoneal reflection via magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and were treated with neoadjuvant radiotherapy (NRT), without elective EIN along with IN irradiation. We stratified the patients into two groups based on whether the lower edge of the rectal tumor extended to the anal canal (P group, n = 109) or not (Rb group, n = 290).
Heart failure (HF), the terminal state of different heart diseases, imposed a significant health care burden worldwide. It is the last battlefield in dealing with cardiovascular diseases. HF with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a type of HF in which the symptoms and signs of HF are mainly ascribed to diastolic dysfunction of left ventricle, whereas systolic function is normal or near-normal.
