This study aims to observe the clinical efficacy of the dual plasma molecular adsorption exchange system (DPMAES) in patients with hepatitis B virus-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (HBV-ACLF), with a focus on its regulatory effect on cytokine storm. A total of 60 HBV-ACLF patients were enrolled in this study. The observation group, comprising 30 patients, received DPMAES treatment, while the control group underwent PE treatment.
