Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a classic autoimmune disease characterized by abnormal autoantibodies, immune complex deposition, and tissue inflammation. Despite extensive research, the exact etiology and progression of SLE remain elusive. Cytidine/uridine monophosphate kinase 2 (CMPK2), a mitochondrial nucleoside monophosphate kinase, has garnered attention for its potential involvement in the development of various diseases, including SLE, where it has been observed to be dysregulated in affected individuals.

Therefore, reducing DON-induced organ toxicity can now be accomplished effectively using protective agents. This review provides an overview of multiple studies on a wide range of protective agents and their molecular mechanisms against DON organ toxicity.

MiRNA expression profiles of DOX-induced cardiotoxicity in rat myocardial tissues and adult rat cardiomyocytes (ARC) were extracted from GEO datasets (GSE36239). Differential expression miRNA (DEMs) were separately captured in rat myocardial tissues and in ARC, and intersected between rat myocardial tissues and ARC via Venny 2.

However, the current SLE-related biomarkers still lack sufficient sensitivity, specificity and predictive power for clinical application. Thus, it is significant to explore new immune-related biomarkers for SLE diagnosis and development.

Primary prevention, through lipid-lowering, could avert development of atherosclerosis. Carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) is a well-validated measure of atherosclerosis used in intervention studies as the primary outcome and alternative end point for cardiovascular disease events.

The core sterilization technology of "microwave sterilization, steam makes the system heat up quickly" was adopted to build a microwave sterilization screw conveyor system that can continuously and dynamically type microwave sterilization. The platinum resistance temperature sensor is used to measure the temperature of the steam at the outlet of the system and the temperature of the material at the outlet.

Myocardial apoptosis and necroptosis are the major etiological factor during doxorubicin (DOX) induced cardiotoxicity, and one of the important reasons that limit the drug's clinical application. Up to date, its mechanism has not been fully elucidated. The protective role of phosphocreatine (PCr) in heart surgery and medical cardiology has been observed in numerous clinical trials.

Here, we report the use of a custom-developed, medium-sized, pan-cancer probe panel for the detection of somatic and germline mutations. We used a hybridization capture-based NGS assay for targeted deep sequencing of all exons and selected introns of 181 key cancer driver genes, covering both inherited risks and somatic mutations.

Firstly the sensor was made by the modification of a needle-type electrode with reduced graphene oxide and gold nanoclusters (rGO-AuNCs) using two-step electrodeposition. Secondly Sulfhydryl-terminated capture probe (ssDNA1) was immobilized on rGO-AuNCs modified electrode surface by self-assembly, and then it was hybridized with adenosine aptamer (ssDNA2).

We retrieved and analyzed the articles with the subject term words or key words of the "cupping spot" from January 1, 1990 to May 20, 2018. The negative pressure, cup-retaining time, temperature and the other factors about cupping spot were compared. There was a single stimulus for the negative pressure and cupping time.

Methods: Fifty-seven NT-CS patients were randomly divided into WCT group and Jiaji acupoint-acupuncture (JA) group according a random number table. WCT group (30 cases) was treated with WCT for 10 min, and JA group (27 cases) was treated with acupuncture for 10 min.
Cardiac fibrosis is considered the initial change of diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM). We have shown that curcumin alleviates collagen deposition in DCM, but the mechanism remains unknown. In this study we sought to investigate the effects of curcumin on cardiac fibrosis in vivo and in vitro and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms.

Methods: The effect of icaritin on In vitro cell viability was determined by MTT assay and colony formation assay.
With retrieval of articles on extraordinary acupoint that were published in domesticin recent five years, one hundred and eight articles of clinical application are screened out and one hundred and twenty-three extraordinary acupoints that are extensively recognized are collected. Of those acupoints, 23 acupoints are included in the latest national standard. Of the rest 100 extraordinary acupoints, 48 acupoints are located on the running courses of fourteen meridians, 4 acupoints are shared with the meridian points and the other 52 acupoints have not been clarified to be located on the running courses of meridians based on the literature data.

We developed a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay to detect Helicobacter pylori in gastric and/or gastroesophageal biopsy specimens of adults with dyspepsia, compared the method with immunohistochemical analysis and CLOtest (Ballard Medical Products, Draper, UT), and correlated the results of each test with the histologic features of infection. H pylori was identified in 36 (60%) of 60 patients irrespective of biopsy site and testing method. In the gastric biopsy specimens, PCR detected H pylori in 29 (52%) of 56 cases, including 11 (100%) of 11 immunohistochemically and/or CLOtest-positive cases.
