Background: Apatinib is a small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting VEGFR-2, which was recently used in a phase II clinical trial for the treatment of recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (rmNPC). However, there is no consistent conclusion on its efficacy and safety on rmNPC. This study conducted a meta-analysis of clinical research on the efficacy and safety of apatinib in the treatment of rmNPC.

Background: We aimed to explore the associations between the controlling nutritional status (CONUT), the prognostic nutritional index (PNI), and prognostic outcomes in patients with small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) receiving radiotherapy.

Methods: A total of 93 SCLC patients who received radiotherapy at the hematology department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University were retrospectively included in this analysis. Patient CONUT and PNI values were calculated.
