Background: On August 7, 2024, the inaugural total laparoscopy-assisted total gastrectomy with the Da Vinci robotic system was performed in the department of gastrointestinal surgery of Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. The procedure, conducted by RENJI-GISH, employed the use of a Da Vinci robot system in conjunction with the Vision Pro and SonoScape medical electronic endoscopy system. This phenomenon has not been documented in the field of gastric cancer surgery The objective of this study is to investigate the safety, feasibility, and surgical effect of the first total laparoscopy-assisted total gastrectomy with the Da Vinci robotic system, conducted by the Robotic Enhanced Neurocomputing Joint Intelligence Gastrointestinal Surgery Hub (RENJI-GISH).

In this work, Ni and Co were encapsulated in lignin-derived phenolic resin spheres to obtain NiCo@LRS, which was then employed as a sacrificial template for the synthesis of the bimetallic catalyst NiCo@LC-RS. The Ni and Co act as the acid and dehydrogenation sites for the catalytic transfer hydrogenolysis of 2-phenoxy-1-phenylethanol (pp-ol) and corncob lignin, respectively, and exhibit a synergistic enhancement effect.

Extracellular vesicles derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSC-EVs) can simulate most of the functions of MSCs and are considered an ideal treatment option for SCI. However, the potential mechanism of MSC-EVs treatment for SCI still needs to be explored.

Carbon nanoparticle suspension injection (CNSI) has become increasingly used in radical gastrectomy procedures. This study is designed to evaluate the quality of LN dissection in gastric cancer patients with laparoscopic distal gastrectomy under the guidance of CNSI lymphography.

However, it remains unclear about the association of this ratio and tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) with prognosis and response to neoadjuvant or conversion therapy in advanced gastric cancer.
Methods: Firstly, fresh postoperative samples from 68 gastric cancer patients in Renji Hospital were collected.
Background: As an important prokaryotic model organism, Bacillus subtilis has been widely used in the industrial production of a variety of target products. The efficient secretion of target products has always been the main purpose of industrial microbial technology. The modification of gene regulatory networks is an important technical means to construct a factory of microbial cells that efficiently secretes target products.

Dietary supplementation with plant-derived α-linolenic acid (ALA) has the potential to rebalance the fatty acid profile and enhance health benefits but faces challenges such as high β-oxidation consumption, low hepatic conversion efficiency, and high oxidative susceptibility under stress. This review focuses on the metabolic fate and potential regulatory targets of ALA-containing lipids , specifically the pathway from the gastrointestinal tract to the lymph, blood circulation, and liver.

Herein, we attempted to tune the foam stability of GNP by coating it with flaxseed gum (FG) and investigated the structure, interfacial behaviors, and foam functionality of gliadin-FG (GFG) particles at pH 4.5.

Conventional whole-layer annealing can effectively improve the properties of SiO films, but it is difficult to improve the properties of HfO films located in the intermediate layer and is also prone to introduce contaminants. In this study, an innovative magnetron sputtering-vacuum tube furnace combined system was presented to deposit and anneal the HfO/SiO films without contaminant.

By collecting 504 surface soil samples, using descriptive statistics, Kriging interpolation and geoaccumulation index methods, combined with the geographic detector model, the spatial distribution characteristics of soil HMs content and its interaction with 19 environmental factors were systematically analyzed. The results showed that the content of heavy metals in the soil in this area was generally higher than the background value of soil in Lhasa, especially Cd and As, which showed strong spatial heterogeneity, suggesting the existence of specific pollution sources.

Therefore, our study prospectively established and validated a mixed model, which combined radiomics, stepwise regression, and deep learning for the prediction of SSIH in patients with temporary ileostomy. The mixed model showed good discrimination of the SSIH patients on all cohorts, which outperformed deep learning, radiomics, and clinical models alone (overall area under the curve [AUC]: 0.

Peritoneal metastasis (PM) is a significant cause of death in patients with GC, and presents a major challenge in clinical diagnosis and treatment. Predicting the occurrence of PM in high-risk patients, and diagnosing and treating PM in advance to improve patient survival, remains an unsolved problem in clinical practice.

This study developed pH-responsive nanocarriers by the electrostatic self-assembly of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyradical (TEMPO)-oxidized cellulose nanofibers (TCNFs) and chitosan (CS) to enhance the intestinal delivery of AST. The TCNF/CS@AST nanoparticles were optimized through single-factor experiments and Box-Behnken design, subsequently overcoming the hydrophobicity of AST and demonstrating improved stability against environmental stressors and controlled release in the intestinal environment.

In this paper, a new strategy to obtain a transition-metal oxide (TMO) thermoelectric monolayer is demonstrated. We show that the TMO thermoelectric monolayer can be achieved by the replacement of a transition-metal atom with a cluster, which is composed of heavy transition atoms with abundant valence electrons. Specifically, the transition-metal atom in the XO (X = Ti, Zr, Hf) monolayer is replaced by the [Ag] cluster and a stable structure AgO is achieved.
