Background: Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) has evolved from a novel technology to an established therapy for high-risk patients with symptomatic severe aortic valve stenosis (AS). Recently, its use has also been extended to low-risk patients, resulting in its increasing utilization in patients with bicuspid aortic valve (BAV). But as a serious post-TAVR complication, ischemic stroke was associated with a nearly 6-fold increased 30-day mortality.

Histopathology is the gold standard for STAS detection, yet traditional methods are subjective, time-consuming, and prone to misdiagnosis, limiting large-scale applications. We present VERN, an image analysis model utilizing a feature-interactive Siamese graph encoder to predict STAS from lung cancer histopathological images.

The prevalence of autism has dramatically increased in countries and regions undergoing rapid industrialization and urbanization. Recent studies have shown that particulate matter (PM) in air pollution affects the development of neurons and disrupts the function of the nervous system, leading to behavioral and cognitive problems and increasing the risk of ASD.

As an emerging immunotherapy, the use of CAR-T cells has made significant breakthroughs in cancer treatment, particularly for hematological malignancies. The success of CAR-T cell therapy in blood cancers highlights its potential for other conditions in which the clearance of pathological cells is therapeutic, such as liver diseases, infectious diseases, heart failure, and diabetes.

This study aims to utilize electroencephalography (EEG) to assess the effects of varying intensities of single-session aerobic exercise on depression symptoms in college students.
Objective: This study aimed to explore the effects of single sessions of aerobic exercise at varying intensities on depressive symptoms in college students through changes in BDI-II (Beck Depression Inventory-II) scores and resting-state EEG lateralization.
Cell-cell communications (CCCs) involve signaling from multiple sender cells that collectively impact downstream functional processes in receiver cells. Currently, computational methods are lacking for quantifying the contribution of pairwise combinations of cell types to specific functional processes in receiver cells (e.g.

Materials And Methods: A total of 307 patients were enrolled, with 260 patients from Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, And 47 patients from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Southwest Medical University. CT images were used to manually segment the OPLL by four experienced radiologists.
Background: Patients with acute and high-risk pulmonary embolism have a high mortality rate, and the optimal treatment for these patients has still not been fully established. Although anticoagulation therapy is currently the preferred treatment for pulmonary embolism, for some patients with intermediate- or high-risk pulmonary embolism, anticoagulation therapy alone has a higher probability of long-term pulmonary hypertension and also seriously worsens the quality of life of patients. This paper mainly reports the efficacy and safety of percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy (PMT) in patients with acute medium- or high-risk pulmonary embolism in Taizhou Hospital of Zhejiang Province so as to provide some clinical basis for the treatment of such patients in the future.

Dominant inactivating variants of the phosphate regulating endopeptidase homolog, X-linked (), gene are present in patients with XLH, and more than half of affected patients carry de novo variants. We report on 3 families in whom affected members had highly unusual pathogenic variants.

Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a major global health concern, and while traditional pulmonary function tests are effective, recent radiomics advancements offer enhanced evaluation by providing detailed insights into the heterogeneous lung changes.
Purpose: To develop and validate a radiomics nomogram based on clinical and whole-lung computed tomography (CT) radiomics features to stratify COPD severity.
Patients And Methods: One thousand ninety-nine patients with COPD (including 308, 132, and 659 in the training, internal and external validation sets, respectively), confirmed by pulmonary function test, were enrolled from two institutions.
This study aimed to examine the impact of exosomes derived from Ang II-stimulated cardiac fibroblasts (CFs) on myocardial hypertrophy. Neonatal rat CFs were isolated and identified using Vimentin immunofluorescence. Following Ang II stimulation, exosomes were collected, characterized, and subjected to miRNA sequencing.

Immunotherapy tends to be more effective in "hot tumors" characterized by a high abundant immune cells. Our previous studies found that secretagogin (SCGN) showed intranuclear aggregation in the early stages of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) development.

Photocatalytic carbon dioxide (CO) reduction technology using solar energy can convert carbon dioxide into fuels and chemicals, and is one of the most effective strategies to mitigate the energy crisis and greenhouse effect. In recent years, covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have flourished due to their unique advantages and have received extensive attention in the field of photocatalytic reduction of CO. Here, we use the pre-designability of COFs to preserve the aldehyde group at the end of the COF skeleton by the motif strategy, while ensuring its excellent photosensitivity.

To overcome the constraints associated with melting, we have developed a solid-phase recycling and simultaneous alloying method. This innovative process enables the alloying of 6063 aluminum scrap with copper, zinc, and magnesium to form a nanocluster-strengthened high-performance aluminum alloy with a composition and properties akin to 7075 aluminum alloy.

This study aimed to elucidate the ameliorative effect of HBP-A on meniscus hypertrophy and mineralisation in KOA and the molecular mechanism of its action. An Hartley guinea pig model of KOA that underwent anterior cruciate ligament transection (ACLT) and a model of rat primary meniscus fibrochondrocytes (PMFs) were used to investigate the ameliorative effect of HBP-A on meniscal hypertrophy and calcification and its signal transduction mechanism of action.

Herein, a red TADF emitter containing space interactions, 4,4'-(9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene-1,8-diyl)bis(,-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)aniline) (DBP-2MOTPA), is designed and synthesized, composed of ethynyl as the acceptor and methoxytriarylamine (MOTPA) as the donor. The triphenylamine donor unit decorated with peripheral methoxy units not only improves the solubility for the solution-processed technology but also increases the electron-donating ability.

We meticulously designed a triflate porous layer on Zn anodes to enhance the overall performance of Zn-ion batteries. During battery operation, it stabilizes the surface pH of Zn anodes and facilitates the formation of a ZnF-containing interphase. Therefore, both the reversibility and reaction kinetics of Zn anodes are effectively promoted.
