The study assessed the safety and effectiveness of CT-guided joint cavity release for treating postpartum sacroiliac joint pain in 37 patients.
Pain levels were significantly reduced post-surgery, with Numeric Pain Rating Scale scores dropping from an average of 7.14 before the procedure to 1.97 six months later.
The treatment yielded high success rates, with 100% of patients experiencing excellent or good outcomes and substantial improvements in their disability levels, as evidenced by the Oswestry Disability Index scores.
