Background And Purpose: To train and evaluate an open-source generative adversarial networks (GANs) to create synthetic lumbar spine MRI STIR volumes from T1 and T2 sequences, providing a proof-of-concept that could allow for faster MRI examinations.
Materials And Methods: 1817 MRI examinations with sagittal T1, T2, and STIR sequences were accumulated and randomly divided into training, validation, and test sets. GANs were trained to create synthetic STIR volumes using the T1 and T2 volumes as inputs, optimized using the validation set, then applied to the test set.
Cold significantly impacts the growth and development of tea plants, thereby affecting their economic value. Receptor-like kinases (RLKs) are thought to play a pivotal role in signaling the plant's response to cold and regulating cold tolerance. Among the RLK subfamilies, wall-associated receptor-like kinases (WAKs) have been investigated across various plant species and have been shown to regulate cell growth and stress responses.

Dental and maxillofacial diseases are always accompanied by complicated hard and soft tissue defects, involving bone, teeth, blood vessels and nerves, which are difficult to repair and severely affect the life quality of patients. Recently, extracellular vesicles (EVs) secreted by all types of cells and extracted from body fluids have gained more attention as potential solutions for tissue regeneration due to their special physiological characteristics and intrinsic signaling molecules. Compared to stem cells, EVs present lower immunogenicity and tumorigenicity, cause fewer ethical problems, and have higher stability.

However, information at a single-cell level on root-specific secondary metabolism remains largely unexplored. L-Theanine, an important quality component of tea, is primarily synthesized in roots, from which it is then transported to new shoots of tea plant.

Atrial fibrosis is a crucial substrate for promoting structural remodeling to cause atrial arrhythmogenesis. Bone morphogenic protein 2 (BMP2) has been reported to be involved in cardiac fibrogenesis.

Background: The association between the number of food kinds and the risk of depression in adults was examined.
Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 4593 adults were included in the study. The number of food kinds was collected via 24‒hour dietary recalls.
Seeking a balance between food security and carbon mitigation is key to achieving sustainable agricultural development. This study evaluates the coupling coordination degree (CCD) between the food security index (FSI) and agricultural carbon emission efficiency (ACEE) in China from 2010 to 2021 using the coupled coordination model. By adjusting the model coefficients, different government priority scenarios are simulated to explore their impact on CCD.

To this end, this paper proposes an interactive multi-scale convolutional module-based short-term multi-energy consumption forecasting method for IES. Firstly, based on multi-scale feature fusion and multi-energy interactive learning, a novel interactive multi-scale convolutional module is proposed to extract and share the coupling information between energy consumption from different scales without increasing network parameters.

As the primary component of anti-tumor immunity, T cells are prone to exhaustion and dysfunction in the tumor microenvironment (TME). A thorough understanding of T cell exhaustion (TEX) in the TME is crucial for effectively addressing TEX in clinical settings and promoting the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade therapies. In eukaryotes, numerous cell surface proteins are tethered to the plasma membrane via Glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchors, which play a crucial role in facilitating the proper translocation of membrane proteins.

This study adopted the coupled coordination model and dynamic qualitative comparative analysis (dynamic QCA) method to measure the coupled coordination degree (CCD) of the food security index (FSI) and agricultural carbon emission efficiency (ACEE) in 31 provinces of China from 2010 to 2021, seeking paths to achieve high coupled coordination from Climate-Smart Agriculture technology, external environment, and incentive dimensions, and simulating path selection differences under various CSA priority scenarios. The results indicated that the CCD of the FSI and ACEE in China significantly increased year-on-year increase, with significant regional differences primarily reflected in the Northeast > East > West > Central regions.

We here investigated the resequencing data of 363 diverse tea accessions collected extensively from almost all tea distributions and found that the population structure of tea plants was divided into eight subgroups, which were basically consistent with their geographical distributions. The genetic diversity of tea plants in China decreased from southwest to east as latitude increased.
