Objective: To clone and express P-29 gene of Echinococcus granulosus, and analyze its immunoreactivity.
Methods: Total RNA was extracted from the hydatid cyst of E. granulosus and its P-29 gene was amplified by RT-PCR.

- The procedure was performed on 26 liver tumors under 5 cm and 5 lymph node metastases, utilizing a straight trocar initially and then a curved needle for precise ethanol injection, ensuring better access to difficult-to-reach tumors.
- Results showed successful ethanol distribution in all tumors, with necrotic changes observed in 18 of the cases after three months, along with a significant reduction in tumor seromarker levels for some patients.
