Natural plant-derived polysaccharides exhibit substantial potential for treating ulcerative colitis (UC) owing to their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and favorable safety profiles. However, their practical application faces several challenges, including structural instability in gastric acid, imprecise targeting of inflamed regions, and limited intestinal retention times. To explore the epidemiological characteristics of public health emergency events (PHEE) of varicella in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and analyze its related influencing factors. Excel was used to organize the varicella data in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2006 to 2021, reported by the management information system of PHEE, to describe the epidemiological characteristics of varicella events. Stress granules (SGs) are non-membranous organelles composed of mRNA and proteins that assemble in the cytosol when the cell is under stress. Although the composition of mammalian SGs is both cell-type and stress-dependent, they consistently contain core components, such as Ras GTPase activating protein SH3 domain binding protein 1 (G3BP1). Upon stress, living cells rapidly assemble micrometric SGs, sometimes within a few minutes, suggesting that SG components may be actively transported by the microtubule and/or actin cytoskeleton.

Five undescribed lignans (1-5), along with sixteen known lignans (6-21), were isolated from the roots of Anthriscus sylvestris using small molecule accurate recognition technology (SMART). The structures of the isolated compounds were determined by comprehensive spectroscopic analyses, and the absolute configurations of compounds 3-5 were elucidated by comparison of their calculated and experimental ECD spectra. Compounds 5, 14-15, 19, and 21 exhibited significantly inhibitory effects against hypoxia-stimulated abnormal proliferation of pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells (PASMCs).

A promising strategy is proposed for fabricating flexible pressure/gas sensors, which have a microprotuberance and microwrinkle structure at micropillars on their sensing substrates. Phytochemical investigation of the -butanol extracts of the herbaceous stems of led to the isolation of eight flavonoids that included three new flavonoid glycosides (-) and five previously reported analogues (-). Their structures have been identified on the basis of various spectral data. Besides, all the flavonoids were tested for their ability to inhibit -glucosidase under the positive control of acarbose, and the results indicated that none of them exhibited significant inhibitory effect on -glucosidase at 100 μM.
