Sodium solid electrolytes with high ionic conductivity and good interfacial stability with sodium metal are crucial to realize high-performance all-solid-state sodium batteries. In this work, W and B-codoped NaSbWSB solid electrolytes are prepared by melt-quenching with further annealing. The synthesized NaSbWSB solid electrolyte possesses a high ionic conductivity of 11.

Impaired protein degradation, especially endo-lysosome-mediated degradation of membrane proteins, is associated with cardiac hypertrophy progression. CHMP4C (charged multivesicular body protein 4C), a critical constituent of multivesicular bodies, is involved in cellular trafficking and signaling.

Methods: To take advantage of single-cell RNA sequencing techniques, we integrated 28 single-cell RNA sequencing data sets containing 5 vascular disease models (atherosclerosis, abdominal aortic aneurysm, intimal hyperplasia, isograft, and allograft) to explore TLOs existence and environment supporting its growth systematically. We also searched Medline, Embase, PubMed, and Web of Science from inception to January 2022 for published histological images of vascular remodeling for histological evidence to support TLO genesis.
Background: Doxorubicin is an effective chemotherapy drug for treating various types of cancer. However, lethal cardiotoxicity severely limits its clinical use. Recent evidence has indicated that aberrant activation of the cytosolic DNA-sensing cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate synthase (cGAS)-STING (stimulator of interferon genes) pathway plays a critical role in cardiovascular destruction.

Prediction of penumbra existence after AIS is crucial for making decision on reperfusion therapy. Yet a fast, inexpensive, simple, and noninvasive predictive biomarker for the poststroke penumbra with clinical translational potential is still lacking.

Defects engineering has emerged as a promising strategy to enhance photocatalytic activity effectively. Herein, a facile and versatile co-precipitation method is proposed to fabricate mesoporous Cd-Zn-S solid solutions (E-CdZnS) with abundant surface defects by the inorganic salts formed in the reaction system as self-template.

Therefore, there is a need to explore the facile synthesis of new SERS substrates and reveal the SERS enhancement mechanism. Here, we develop a simple, facile and low-cost two-step method to synthesize copper sulfide based nanostructures with different CuS contents.

For effectively suppressing OAC fluctuations, we propose a hybrid (wavelength/angle) division multiplexing (HDM) method, which improved the OAC contrast by 70.7% in tissue phantoms.

The effect detection of detonation exhaust can provide measurement data for exploring the formation mechanism of detonation, the promotion of detonation efficiency and the reduction of fuel waste. Based on tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy technique combined with double optical path cross-correlation algorithm, the article raises the diagnosis method to realize the on-line testing of detonation exhaust velocity, temperature and H2O gas concentration. The double optical path testing system is designed and set up for the valveless pulse detonation engine with the diameter of 80 mm.

The structural mechanisms for Li/Na insertion in these electrodes were investigated using pair distribution function (PDF) analysis. Not only does the Se electrode show promising electrochemical performance with both Li and Na anodes, but the additional potential for mixed Se(x)S(y) systems allows for tunable electrodes, combining the high capacities of S-rich systems with the high electrical conductivity of the d-electron containing Se.

Background: Following left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation in end-stage heart failure, the management of right ventricular dysfunction presents a therapeutic problem unresolved by conventional drug therapy (catecholamines, nitrates, and prostacyclin). This study was performed to investigate the effects of supplemental inhalation of nitric oxide (NO), a selective pulmonary vasodilator, postoperatively and prospectively.
Methods And Results: Intraindividual dose titration of NO was performed (0 to 40 ppm) according to a standardized protocol.
