Interferon regulatory factor 7 (IRF7)-mediated type I interferon antiviral response is crucial for regulating the host following viral infection in chickens. Infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) is a double-stranded RNA virus that induces immune suppression and high mortality rates in chickens aged 3-6 weeks. Previous studies have shown that IBDV infection antagonizes the type I interferon production to facilitate viral replication in the cell, and IRF7 signaling might play an important role.

This review synthesises recent advancements in SCO technology, highlighting their role in modelling spinal cord morphogenesis and their application in neurodegenerative disease research. We discuss the methodological breakthroughs in inducing regional specification and cellular diversity within SCOs, which have enhanced their predictive ability for drug screening and their relevance in mimicking pathological conditions such as neurodegenerative diseases and neuromuscular disorders.

The advancement of high-throughput sequencing technology in recent decades has led to a greater understanding of the components of the oral microbiota, providing a solid foundation for extensive research in this field. The oral microbiota plays an important role in an individual's overall health. It has been shown to be significantly correlated with chronic human diseases, including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiovascular disease, periodontal disease, and Alzheimer's disease.

Cuproptosis, a newly discovered form of cell death, plays an important role in cancer. Nonetheless, additional research investigating the association between cuproptosis-related lncRNAs and prostate cancer (PCa) prognosis is required.

Nevertheless, the significance of other concurrently detected microorganisms in IPA patients is equally noteworthy. This study aimed to develop a risk prediction model for IPA by integrating clinical and microbiological characteristics.
