Serine-modified silver nanoparticle porous spray membrane: A novel approach to wound infection prevention and inflammation reduction.

Traditional wound care preparations frequently face challenges such as complex care protocols, poor patient compliance, limited skin permeability, lack of aesthetics, and inconvenience, in addition to the risk of bacterial infection. We developed a spray film preparation containing nanocellulose and L-serine modified nanosilver, capable of rapidly forming a transparent film on the skin within minutes of application. The incorporation of nanocellulose imparted protective, moisturizing, and breathable properties to the film, allowing for easy removal after use.

Association between daily sesame consumption and the risk of sarcopenia in elderly adults: the TCLSIH cohort study.

Background: Sarcopenia is an age-related, progressive, and systemic skeletal muscle disorder that can lead to numerous adverse outcomes. Animal studies have shown that sesame can enhance skeletal muscle blood flow and improve physical performance. However, no studies have yet explored the association between sesame consumption and the incidence of sarcopenia in the general population.

Gemcitabine (GEM) has been extensively applied in treating various solid tumors. Nonetheless, GEM is easily metabolized in vivo by cytidine deaminase (CDA) to inactive 2', 2'-Difluorodeoxyuridine (dFdU) results in a low oral bioavailability, which limit its clinical application. It was found that Cedazuridine (CDZ) could effectively inhibit the deamination of the drug by CDA, and its combination with GEM might affect the oral bioavailability of GEM.

Background: Anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy is a common, yet highly efficient, cellular immunotherapy for lymphoma. However, many recent studies have reported on its cardiovascular (CV) toxicity. This study analyzes the cardiotoxicity of CD19 CAR T cell therapy in the treatment of lymphoma for providing a more valuable reference for clinicians.
