The remarkable flexibility in structural tunability and designability of poly(ionic liquids) (PILs) has garnered significant attention. Integration of PILs with membranes, novel properties, and functionalities is anticipated for applications in the fields of membrane separation. Here, we develop a facile method to prepare PIL-functionalized membranes in a one-step process by combining selective swelling-induced pore generation and ionic liquid functionalization.

Nucleic acid-guided endonucleases, such as CRISPR, have demonstrated great potential in digital NAA. However, performing multiplex digital NAA with an endonuclease remains challenging.

N-acyl/sulfonyl-α-phosphonated 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroiso-quinolines (THIQs) are highly important structural motifs in organic synthesis and drug discovery. However, the one-pot approach enabling direct difunctionalization of THIQs remains challenging. Herein we report a photomediated one-pot multicomponent cascade reaction to access N-acyl/sulfonyl-α-phosphonated THIQs via twice acyl/sulfonyl iminium.

Ferroptosis is a form of non-apoptotic cell death associated with metabolic dysfunction, resulting in abnormal breakdown of glutamine and iron-dependent accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) during metabolism. However, the molecular mechanism of ferroptosis in the pathogenesis of MI and the function of Klotho and KRAS on ferroptosis during MI remain unclear.
