Background: Neuroblastoma, a prevalent extracranial solid tumor in pediatric patients, demonstrates significant clinical heterogeneity, ranging from spontaneous regression to aggressive metastatic disease. Despite advances in treatment, high-risk neuroblastoma remains associated with poor survival. SLC1A5, a key glutamine transporter, plays a dual role in promoting tumor growth and immune modulation.

Background: Evolving evidence suggests both protein consumption and particulate matter less than 2.5 micrometers (PM) might be related to ovarian cancer (OC) mortality. However, no epidemiological studies have explored their potential interaction.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFIonic conductive hydrogels (ICHs) are emerging as key materials for advanced human-machine interactions and health monitoring systems due to their unique combination of flexibility, biocompatibility, and electrical conductivity. However, a major challenge remains in developing ICHs that simultaneously exhibit high ionic conductivity, self-healing, and strong adhesion, particularly under extreme low-temperature conditions. In this study, a novel ICH composed of sulfobetaine methacrylate, methacrylic acid, TEMPO-oxidized cellulose nanofibers, sodium alginate, and lithium chloride is presented.

Herein, we prepared some edible coatings (EW/TNPCSs) based on egg white/chitosan/pectin as polymer matrix, containing tannic acid-nisin composite nano-crosslinker with antibacterial-antioxidant activities. The results of preservation indicated that the prepared EW/TNPCSs reduced the water loss of chilled pork and delayed the changes of taste, texture and surface color.

The model seeks to enhance clinical decision-making by optimizing preoperative treatment strategies.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on data from PTC patients who underwent thyroidectomy between October 2022 and May 2024 across six centers.
