Background: Patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) experience various forms of stigma at the individual, public, and structural levels that can affect how they access and engage with healthcare, particularly with medications for OUD treatment. Telehealth is a relatively new form of care delivery for OUD treatment. Background: There exist many barriers to hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment for those with substance use disorder (SUD) or who lack access to routine medical care. A hospital-based telehealth program was developed to provide treatment opportunities for hospitalized patients living with HCV.
