This study was to investigate the effects of the polysaccharides (PPM60-III) and sulfated polysaccharides (SPPM60-III) of pine pollen on the Th17/Treg balance, inflammatory cytokines, intestinal microbiota, and metabolite distribution in 3% DSS drinking water-induced UC mice. A paper-based electrochemical dual-function biosensor capable of determining pH and TCO was synthesized for the first time using an iridium oxide pH electrode and an all-solid-state ion electrode (ASIE). In the study, to obtain highly reliable results, the biosensor was equipped with a real-time pH correction function before TCO measurements. Compared to traditional liquid-filling carbon dioxide detection sensors, the utilization of ferrocene endows our novel sensor with abundant positive sites, and thus greatly improves its performance.

Ten Eleven Translocation 1 (TET1) is a regulator of localized DNA demethylation through the conversion of 5-methylcytosine (5mC) to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC). To examine DNA demethylation in human primordial germ cell-like cells (hPGCLCs) induced from human embryonic stem cells (hESCs), we performed bisulfite-assisted APOBEC coupled epigenetic sequencing (bACEseq) followed by integrated genomics analysis. Our data indicates that 5hmC enriches at hPGCLC-specific NANOG, SOX17 or TFAP2C binding sites on hPGCLC induction, and this is accompanied by localized DNA demethylation.
