Objective: We attempted to evaluate the immediate high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion-cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2/3 or worse (HSIL-CIN2+/3+, hereafter referred to as CIN2+/3+) risk of specific human papillomavirus (HPV) genotype and form the precise risk-based triage strategy for atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US) women.
Methods: The clinical data of ASC-US women who underwent HPV genotyping testing and colposcopy were retrospectively reviewed. The distribution and CIN2+/3+ risks of specific HPV genotype were assessed by three approaches.
The photo-Fenton reaction can efficiently degrade organic pollutants and thus is applied intensively for clearing out membrane fouling. However, the pollutant removal efficiency is greatly limited by the redox cycle rate of Fe/Fe and the rapid recombination rate of the photogenerated electrons and holes. In order to overcome these drawbacks, a sulfonated polysulfone composite membrane was designed and prepared by incorporating titanium dioxide (TiO) nanoparticles into a sulfonated polysulfone membrane and sequentially forming β-FeOOHs on the membrane surface.

Because of the increased rate of blood vessel reperfusion, it is important to prevent cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, in which glutamate (Glu) excitotoxicity plays a critical role. The most important Glu transporter, GLT-1, is essential for the regulation of Glu, which is dependent on Na-K-ATPase (NKA)-induced ion concentration gradient differences.

The underlying mechanisms of PND are closely related to perineuronal nets (PNNs). PNNs, which are complexes of extracellular matrix primarily surrounding neurons in the hippocampus, play a critical role in neurocognitive function.

Current evidence indicates that microRNAs (miRNAs) exert critical roles in many biological systems, including osteoblast differentiation. In this study, we examined miR-468-3p effects on osteogenic differentiation (OD).

The last decades have witnessed rapid advances in improving their efficiency and lifetime. So far, among the three primary colors of QLEDs devices, the performance of blue QLEDs is considerably inferior to that of green and red ones including Cd-based and Cd-free devices, which is a key bottleneck hindering QLEDs' application.

Epigenetic changes are hallmarks of senescence and are closely associated with cognitive impairment. However, the effects of anesthesia and surgery on the aging brain's epigenetic regulatory mechanisms and its impact on cognitive impairment remain unclear.

To improve the prognosis of GC patients, an effective immune-related prognostic biomarker is urgent. Here, we aim to explore the correlation between the expression of procalcitonin gamma subfamily A, 10 (PCDHGA10) and clinicopathological characteristics, especially its relation with tumor-infiltrating immune cells (TILs) in GC.

However, their highly reactive core surface is prone to oxidation, which reduces the photoluminescence quantum yield (PL QY) and impedes subsequent shell growth. Traditional etching methods using HF aqueous solution are problematic as water can induce reoxidation during or after etching.

Amendment significantly improves soil structure and promotes crop growth. To combat soil degradation and low crop yields in facility agriculture, it is crucial to study the optimal application rate of amendments. This study analyzed the effects of biochar, vermicompost, and mineral-source potassium fulvic acid on the stability of aggregate structure, soil nutrient content, and tomato yield in cambisols, providing a theoretical basis for improving the soil quality of plastic greenhouses in Southern China.

Background: Previous research has established that the oxidized low-density lipoprotein/β2-glycoprotein I/anti-β2-glycoprotein I antibody (oxLDL/β2GPI/anti-β2GPI) complex can stimulate macrophages to secrete molecules associated with atherosclerosis (AS), such as monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1), tissue factor (TF), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). This complex also enhances the uptake of oxLDL, thereby accelerating foam cell formation through the Toll-like receptor-4/nuclear factor kappa B (TLR4/NF-κB) pathway. Given the critical role of macrophage autophagy in the instability of vulnerable atherosclerotic plaques, it is imperative to investigate whether the oxLDL/β2GPI/anti-β2GPI complex influences macrophage autophagy in AS.

However, the SII has rarely been reported in skin cancers. In this study, we aimed to assess the association between SII values and the risk of occurrence of skin cancers.

Then, on the 28th day, the included infants were divided into the BPD group and the non-BPD group according to the definition of BPD.
The perovskite nanocrystals (PeNCs) are emerging as a promising emitter for light-emitting diodes (LEDs) due to their excellent optical and electrical properties. However, the ultrafast growth of PeNCs often results in large sizes exceeding the Bohr diameter, leading to low exciton binding energy and susceptibility to nonradiative recombination, while small-sized PeNCs exhibit a large specific surface area, contributing to an increased defect density. Herein, Zn ions as a negative catalyst to realize quantum-confined FAPbBr PeNCs with high photoluminescence quantum yields (PL QY) over 90%.
