Understanding the Coulomb interactions between two-dimensional (2D) materials and adjacent ions/impurities is essential to realizing 2D material-based hybrid devices. Electrostatic gating via ionic liquids (ILs) has been employed to study the properties of 2D materials. However, the intrinsic interactions between 2D materials and ILs are rarely addressed.

Antibacterial Effect of Chitosan-Modified FeO Nanozymes on .

The aim of this study was to determine whether the antibacterial activity of chitosan-modified FeO (CS@FeO) nanomaterials against () is mediated through changes in biofilm formation and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. For this purpose, the broth dilution method was used to examine the effect of CS@FeO nanoparticles on bacterial growth. The effects of CS@FeO nanoparticles on biofilm formation were measured using a semi-quantitative crystal violet staining assay.
