Older age is often conceptualised as a stage of life in which the future is considered to be less relevant than the past. This is reflected in literature that emphasises the importance of the past in later life but overlooks the significance of the future. This paper addresses this knowledge gap by analysing narratives that older people write about the future.

Severe febrile illnesses in children encompass life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by diverse pathogens and other severe inflammatory syndromes. A comparative approach to these illnesses may identify shared and distinct features of host immune dysfunction amenable to immunomodulation. Here, using immunophenotyping with mass cytometry and cell stimulation experiments, we illustrate trajectories of immune dysfunction in 74 children with multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) associated with SARS-CoV-2, 30 with bacterial infection, 16 with viral infection, 8 with Kawasaki disease, and 42 controls.

Whilst maternal health and offspring outcome have been studied in some detail, the paternal impacts are not as well understood. A father's poor nutritional status has been shown to have negative consequences on foetal growth and development and ultimately impact the long-term adult health of the offspring.

COVID -19 creates a significant heightened risk for those living in congregate sheltering spaces. In March 2020, the COVID-19 Community Response Team formed at Women's College Hospital, to support Toronto shelters and congregate living sites to manage and prevent outbreaks of SARS-CoV-2 using a collaborative model of onsite mobile testing and infection prevention.

Invertible Map between Bell Nonlocal and Contextuality Scenarios.

We present an invertible map between correlations in any bipartite Bell scenario and behaviors in a family of contextuality scenarios. The map takes local, quantum, and no-signaling correlations to noncontextual, quantum, and contextual behaviors, respectively. Consequently, we find that the membership problem of the set of quantum contextual behaviors is undecidable, the set cannot be fully realized via finite dimensional quantum systems and is not closed.
