Home physical therapy versus telerehabilitation in improving motor function and quality of life in Parkinson's disease: a randomized controlled trial.

Background: Over the past few years, the development of telerehabilitation has advanced rapidly. Patients with Parkinson's disease (PwPD) often have difficulty with mobility, making it challenging for them to perform centre-based exercise.This study aims to compare the effectiveness and adherence of home physical therapy (HPT) and telerehabilitation (TR) in mitigating motor symptoms and improving the quality of life in patients with mild to moderate Parkinson's disease.

Correlation between motor function and health-related quality of life in early to mid-stage patients with Parkinson disease: a cross-sectional observational study.

Aim: To investigate the correlation between motor function and health-related quality of life (HrQOL) in early to mid-stage patients with Parkinson disease (PwP).

Methods: This cross-sectional study recruited PwP from April 2020 to December 2023 at the outpatient clinic of Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing, China. The motor symptoms were assessed using Movement Disorder Society-sponsored revision of the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) part 3.

The Effect of Manual Lymph Drainage and Compression Bandaging for Stage 2 Breast Cancer-Related Lymphedema: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

To explore the effect of manual lymph drainage (MLD), compression bandaging (CB), or combined decongestive therapy (CDT), including MLD and CB, on stage 2 breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL). Sixty women with stage 2 BCRL were enrolled. They were randomly divided into the MLD group, the CB group or the CDT group.
