School food has a major influence on children's diet quality and has the potential to reduce diet inequalities and non-communicable disease risk. Funded by the UK Prevention Research Partnership, we have established a UK school food system network. This study aimed to explore the relationship between AMD status and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry measures (DEXAMs) among a representative sample of the US population, and compare the association with AnthM.
Method: Using a representative sample in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Study 2005-2006 (n=1632), DEXAMs across the whole body and waist (ie, android), and relative fat distributions (eg, percentage fat, android-to-total body ratio) were analysed between no AMD (baseline) and any AMD.
Use of food supplements (FS) by athletes is well characterised but there is little information on 'herbal' or 'botanical' FS beyond 'natural'. This study determined, by questionnaire, whether athletes' main self-reported reason for using FS was reflective of what was written on product labels or, when these claims were unavailable, was in accordance with the scientific literature. In 217 elite (n = 55) and amateur (n = 162) athletes living on the island of Ireland, 71% (n = 153) consumed any kind of FS, with 16% (n = 34) of the entire cohort deemed botanical consumers.

The impact of concurrent pharmacological therapy is unknown.
Objective: To pool data from six RCTs to examine the effect of increasing FV intake on blood pressure (BP) and lipid profile, also exploring whether effects differed by medication use.
Introduction: The reproductive years can increase women's weight-related risk. Evidence for effective postpartum weight management interventions is lacking and engaging women during this life stage is challenging. Following a promising pilot evaluation of the Supporting MumS intervention, we assess if theory-based and bidirectional text messages to support diet and physical activity behaviour change for weight loss and weight loss maintenance, are effective and cost-effective for weight change in postpartum women with overweight or obesity, compared with an active control arm receiving text messages on child health and development.

This study explores stakeholders' views (headteachers, teachers, parents and pupils) on what works well, the challenges, and what an ideal primary school food system includes.
Methods: An online 'School Food Survey' was created in Qualtrics XM including closed and open-ended questions about the primary school food system.
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the social and environmental factors involved in the food decision-making processes of families living on lower incomes on the Island of Ireland.
Design: A qualitative design was employed for this study, using photovoice and creative mapping methods. Parents were requested to take photos and draw maps of their food environments.
