Purpose Of Review: Two widely validated health-related quality of life (HR-QoL) tools, specifically designed for patients with advanced cancer, are the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 15 Palliative Care (EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL) and the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Palliative (FACIT-Pal-14). This systematic review aims to evaluate the use of EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL and FACIT-Pal-14 in prospective studies in patients with advanced cancer, focusing on study types, clinical settings, additional HR-QoL tools used, and completion rates.

However, there is 1) a lack of examination on PEC's quality of care (measured as degree of agreement in plan of care between upskilled optometrists and ophthalmologists) and 2) no comprehensive real-world evaluation on operational viability and stakeholders' perception of the community-based PEC model. Holistic evaluation is important as in-depth understanding of stakeholders' experience in implementation will be key to ensure the long-term sustainability and scalability of this PEC model.

Proactive inpatient diabetes service model of care observed to decrease severe hyperglycaemia and hypoglycaemia in a 'real-world' Australian hospital setting.

Background: Hyperglycaemia and hypoglycaemia are associated with adverse outcomes in hospitalised patients. A cluster-randomised trial at an Australian quaternary hospital showed that an early intervention model of inpatient diabetes care decreased hyperglycaemia. This model of care was later implemented as a clinical service at Northern Health, where the inpatient diabetes service (IDS) performed virtual glycaemic surveillance and provided proactive bedside consultations for patients with unstable glycaemia.

We propose a dual-branch framework to capture the joint degradation effect among deep network features. The first branch uses kernel representation similarity analysis (KRSA), which compares feature self-similarity matrices via the mean absolute error (MAE).

Graph-based multiview clustering (MVC) approaches have demonstrated impressive performance by leveraging the consistency properties of multiview data in an unsupervised manner. However, existing methods for graph learning heavily rely on either Euclidean structures or the manifold topological structures derived from fixed view-specific graphs. Regulatory T cells constrain T cells of shared specificity to enforce tolerance during infection.

During infections, CD4 Foxp3 regulatory T (Treg) cells must control autoreactive CD4 conventional T (Tconv) cell responses against self-peptide antigens while permitting those against pathogen-derived "nonself" peptides. We defined the basis of this selectivity using mice in which Treg cells reactive to a single prostate-specific self-peptide were selectively depleted. We found that self-peptide-specific Treg cells were dispensable for the control of Tconv cells of matched specificity at homeostasis.

A Pilot Study to Evaluate an International Normalized Ratio-Derived Formula in Combination with Heparin-Calibrated Anti-Xa Activity in Calculating a Plasma Edoxaban Level.
