Computed tomography coronary angiography after excluding myocardial infarction: high-sensitivity troponin versus risk score-guided approach.

Background: Patients with suspected acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in whom myocardial infarction has been ruled out are still at risk of having obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD). This rate is higher among patients with intermediate high-sensitivity troponin I (hsTnI) concentrations (5 ng/L to 99 percentile) than low concentrations (<5 ng/L). Therefore, an intermediate concentration has been suggested as a candidate for downstream investigation with computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA).

Preparation and Properties of Wet-Spun Microcomposite Filaments from Various CNFs and Alginate.

We aimed to improve the mechanical properties of alginate fibers by reinforcing with various cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs). Pure cellulose nanofibril (PCNF), lignocellulose nanofibril (LCNF) obtained via deep eutectic solvent (DES) pretreatment, and TEMPO-oxidized lignocellulose nanofibril (TOLCNF) were employed. Sodium alginate (AL) was mixed with PCNF, LCNF, and TOLCNF with a CNF content of 5-30%.

Augmentation of GNSS by Low-Cost MEMS IMU, OBD-II, and Digital Altimeter for Improved Positioning in Urban Area.

This paper proposes an efficient multi-sensor system to complement GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) for improved positioning in urban area. The proposed system augments GNSS by low-cost MEMS IMU (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems Inertial Measurement Unit), OBD (On-Board Diagnostics)-II, and digital altimeter modules. For improved availability of time synchronization in urban area, an adaptive synchronization method is proposed to combine the external PPS (Pulse Per Second) signal and the internal onboard clock.
