Trainees frequently present data, including vital signs, laboratory test results, and imaging results, just after the history or presenting illness in a section labeled "ED Course." This practice distracts from the history and physical and decenters the patient as the most valuable source of diagnostic data. Reformatting presentations to appropriately present objective data after the complete history may improve diagnosis and refocuses attention on the patient.

Their fragmentation routes under electron impact were established and confirmed by metastable ion analysis and accurate mass measurements. The results demonstrated that the relative amounts of exo/endo isomeric molecular ions are in close agreement with the isomeric ratios observed in solutions by the NMR, although the mass spectra of the tetracyano derivatives indicated a small fraction of molecular ions existing in the endo form, which could not be detected in solution by the NMR methods.

A panel of monoclonal antibodies was generated against the urea-based hapten N-(2-N-chloroacetylaminobenzyl)-N'-4-chlorophenylurea as a tool for building up sensitive immune assays to detect urea derivatives and to screen them for catalytic antibodies (Abs). The combined application of the presented 17 PCR-based sequence- or length-polymorphic DNA systems to criminal cases gives the power of individualization to the hand of the forensic scientist. The joint application of these genetic markers to disputed paternity cases enables the verification of paternity for an unexcluded man with the highest legal category, namely "paternity practically proved".
