Spine surgery has undergone significant advancements, particularly with regard to robotic systems that enhance surgical techniques and improve patient outcomes. As these technologies become increasingly integrated into surgical practice, it is essential to evaluate their added value and cost savings. Hence, this study compared robot-assisted and navigation-based spine surgery, focusing on surgical efficiency.

Lower Limb Malrotation following Minimally Invasive Plating in Distal Tibia Fractures.

Introduction: Minimally invasive percutaneousosteosynthesis (MIPO) plating techniques havedemonstrated good outcomes in the treatment of distal tibia fractures. Early arthritis and functional impairment mayoccur if length and rotation are not restored. This study aims to determine the incidence and severity of tibia malrotation following MIPO plating of isolated unilateral distal tibia fractures, defined as torsional difference of greater than 10° as compared to the contralateral limb and whether the degree of malrotation affects functional outcomes scores.

Correction of degenerative lumbar coronal deformity using asymmetrical interbody cages: Surgical technique and case report.

However, the coronal plane deformity has not received much attention and, if left uncorrected, may lead to poorer outcomes. Here, we present a case of degenerative lumbar scoliosis with a rigid coronal malalignment secondary to a dysplastic sacrum.

Axillary versus Forearm Crutches: A Prospective Cohort Comparing which is Superior for 3-Point Crutch Gait.

Introduction: Two common crutches utilised for orthopaedic rehabilitation include the axillary crutch and forearm crutch, with either crutch providing weight transfer through different mechanisms.
