A "long short-term memory" (LSTM)-based human activity classifier is presented for skeleton data estimated in video frames. A strong feature engineering step precedes the deep neural network processing. The video was analyzed in short-time chunks created by a sliding window.

Due to a huge amount of data supplied to surveillance systems, some automatic data processing is a necessity. In one typical scenario, an operator marks an object in an image frame and searches for all occurrences of the object in other frames or even image sequences.
